Guys, I'm thinking to buy an M-line saga BLM soon as my hospital attachment is going to require me to have a car (due to location, of course).

I would like to ask for advices, which I will appreciate very much.

So, let's begin with the basics...

In Bandar Sunway area, where can I buy the car? I live close to Monash University/Sunway College University, by the way.

After I buy M-line, how long must I wait till I get the car?

Any modification that I must do to the car (add this, add that, etc)?

Near Sime Darby Specialist got one Proton Edar. I bought one there, after loan approved I got my car in a week (blueberry tea). When buying protons car better buy from proton edar than 'wakil jualan'. Just my opinion lar.

Guys sorry, my parents seem to have a second thought on me buying a car.

Will inform you all when I've got the green light again.

Thanks for all your answers, I appreciate it! :-)

Guys, my parents have given me the green light and this time it looks like a permanent one!

Thanks so much for telling me what to do. Will take your suggestions into account when I buy the car.

Are there any other upgrades that I must have other than tint, soundproof and change to decent alarm system for my M-line Saga BLM? ^^

lookig4room - i just have 1 advice for u...dun expect too much out of saga and u will be fine..if this is your first car u might treasure it a lot, care a lot about the sounds coming from the car (the creaks and such) and honestly saga has its fair share of those sounds compare to perodua cars..as long as u bear in mind that these sounds will be there and that you can either try to find the source of the sound and fix them yourself or leave it alone, u will be fine. That's just my advice after driving saga for > 3 months....i still love the car...the handling is so much better than my old myvi. i can do swift turns on some slightly bent roads without feeling like its gonna tip over..hahaha
*
Thanks for your one advice, brother ^^.

I'll expect not too much from saga. I know it's not a japanese car.

I've heard alot about BLM's body roll too, so I guess anti-roll bars will help as well.

If things don't change by beginning next year, I'd be joining this club biggrin.gif

BLM's body roll? Anti-roll bars? Mind explaining more, bro?

blm's body roll when cornering is higher than most sedan car due to the build of the car..but its acceptable..if u compare with hatchback cars like myvi the cornering is superb..haha
*
Owh so i should avoid cornering at F1 speed then ^^. Thanks for telling!

There is another thing that has been bothering me.

Imagine if today is an examination day...
And i'm left with only 10 min to reach school which is possible using car

BUT when i attempt to start the saga BLM...
The car cannot get started even though its brand new....

Does such problem occur often to saga BLM..?
How bout if the saga BLM is already say, 5 years old..

Does such problem occur more often by then?

bro..seriously u needa google alot and learn from ur frens about a car.our car is wire driven, means its controlled by electronics.the cause of "canot start properly" issue only occurs if:

-batery not enough
-cable loose
-timing belt worn
-sparkplug kong
-engine kong
-ecu kong

this is just what i can think of..if u wanna have this problem free from ur head, then get some expensive from foreign country.with rm40k plus, u get a descent ride like BLM, not a BMW.
*
Wah quite a lot of factors that can cause "cannot start properly"...

Ah well, I'll just take a cab when the bad day happens..

Dun have cash for japanese car >_<..

Thanks for telling bro.

view this site, example of a fuelly from a forumer here => http://www.fuelly.com/driver/mlbl/saga
i'm also new to this thing and haven't start it yet, but interested to do so, from what i can see its basically as a record log to show fuel consumption data inserted by you, whereby the charts and tables would sum up average fuel usage over period of time. this is nice as if someone suddenly posts up a non-backed-up-evidence claims like "saga blm eat so much fuel compare to my fuel saving $$$ car!!", you could ask them back "i show you my proof, you show me yours, please". just my thought.. cheers~  icon_rolleyes.gif

check out this main page of fuelly, the introduction basically sums up what we can expect => http://www.fuelly.com/
Fuelly is a site that lets you track, share, and compare your gas mileage. Simply sign up, add a car or motorcycle, and begin tracking your mileage. To date, 20,563 Fuelly users have tracked 398,848 fuel-ups in 26,602 vehicles over 111,187,501 miles of driving.

the video is informative too => http://www.fuelly.com/about/

hope more forumers(especially saga blm owners like us!) to join up and contribute too~
*
I took a bit of a view of the fuelly site and seems like the parameters they give are for US, like in gallons, miles instead of in litres and kilometers?

Confused here icon_question.gif
