BA  - Brake assist .... (i think)
*
You are right dude.
BA = Brake Assist.
ABS = Anti-lock Brake System
EBD = Electronic Brake-Force Distribution
Can we install the ABS, EBD and BA?

Actually, I planned to trade-in my old Daihatsu Charade to Saga BLM for my parent.
If the ABS, EBD and BA stuff cannot installed on Saga, then I will reconsider other choices.
This is because, I don't want compromise my parent's life as they are slow to react in case of emergency brake + Saga only has ONE Air Bag (Proton just want to keep driver's life safe, and ignore the front passenger or ignore this safety stuff to keep price more competitive?). Thus, do Saga overprice since they doesn't has any safety features like ABS, EBD and BA?For me, Safety come first, performance second. No meaning if the car can speed but cannot stop in case of emergency (my 2nd cent).

**No offense to Saga BLM Owner. **

all i can say BLM is a budget saloon car, if ur asking for safety precaution number 1 car, then u shud get jap cars or conti..local even a perdana or waja can guarantee stuff like that.furthermore, we do not want accidents to happen to, right?installing those stuff for a budget car..better save more for better option, bro..

1.3 M-line
ful specs, airbag..accesories..aloi rims...

1.6 B-line
1.6, persona gearbox, everything about engine.

But myVi have wor? I agree with you that we do not want accidents to happen but accidents some time is can't control by us.Right? For instance, "Kutu Jalan" who sudden change to ur lane or during raining day, u cant even estimate how far your car from car in front and car in front sudden emergency brake.Why not "Sedia payung sebelum hujan"? Just add few K for ur life and passenger inside.

nothing wrong with the brake. It just doesn't have additional supplementary brake system (ABS, EBD, BA). Google urself to understand more. ABS in short will not lock ur wheel if u have a supper duper emergency brake or on slippery road so that you can control ur car. Without it your call will skid all the way long....

need to check everything when I get the car later
hopefully can get it by today

But do bare in mind, don't tergesa-gesa to drive back ur car and don't choose rainy day or lunch time to collect your car. I experience before where I collected my car on rainy day + lunch time, I cant spot the scratch, room mirror crack, car door paint not paint nicely. (my car is not proton anyway).

Take your time to inspect your car.

Agree with xshiro. I think you should not worry whether got money to repair or not but you should worry whether you have time and patient to take the car to repair. whistling.gif

i hope the latest batch is free from iafm problem.

dont forget to check the steering alignment - sometimes senget  abit, weatherstrip/door rubber, suspension/absorber sound...

so far, my power window never fail
*
Your car still new so is normal for your power window still functioning. Wait few years and see. Haha...For power window some time is wear-and-tear, where the carbon built-up on the switch copper plate. Just take out and clean it sometime will do as what I had did my Kenari's power window switch.

got one last new set on my hand currently.a black 1, instead of grey. pm me if u interested.

Huh?!! I din said proton use wat kind of metal. What i try to explain is that, power window issue sometime is not factory defect but is from the wear-and-tear usage. After year of use, carbon will build around the switch copper pin in the switch and just clean the carbon from the copper will "rescue" your power window.
