dear all blm owners,

i'm getting a blm m-line auto soon. but cant decide which is the best colour. i like black colour (for future car make-up). but my brother n dad recommend me to book the silver colour as it will not absorb too much heat than black/dark colour.

my older bro drive a black myvi so he recomended based on his experience. silver is also a nice-looking colour but silver BLMs are too common on the road already. aaahhhh!!! i'm in deep dilemma right now.

thanks all 4 replying

thanks all... up to now, maybe i should stick with black colour. just need to save some money for a good tint.

but i read from another thread that tint just reduce the heat for a short time only (max.30 min). longer than that the heat will burn ur a$$ too smile.gif even my friend's silver civic(07) tinted with v-kool and leather/PU seat is damn hot when parked under hot sun

thks sir nazri. hospital staffs like to buy this colour (as told by the SalesAgent). but its hard to keep a white car for me. i saw a black BLM at duke. fitted with black bodykits and "3-stand with a 3rd brake light" spoiler. its nice too. i'm saving my money for that upgrade

haloo izglory,
is it hot to drive long distance with a black car? TQ

last few month touch-up a paint chip like that cost me rm100 (average quality) at kepong area. the paint shops at batu cave/gombak are expensive. they quote me double for minor touch up like that. quality wise, batu caves shops win smile.gif

how many ppl here facing alignment not straight problem? does ur car goes straight when ur steering wheel is straight?

mine feel like alignment got problem when driving high speed more noticeable...like > 110 km

i also having this problem...noticed the steering tilt to the left abit (after reading the previous posts).

and last week for the 1st time, i drive on the highway(to klia). the misalignment are very obvious. when driving at 100 already my car gone wobbling/swaying. very hard to control the car & i feel headache and wanna vomit too after driving like this for about 1 hour (from damansara's nkve to klia at 90-110kmh). at 1st i thought because of the strong wind from sides of the car...but my thought was wrong. rclxub.gif cry.gif

plus, sometimes whistling sound can be heard from the left side of my car. very loud and clear, even when the radio is switched on. still wonder where the source of the sound.... now the mileage still at 500km as i seldom drive my 1 1/2 month old BLM.

to add my misery, my car paint seems like uneven. i can see a very very fine circular scratch line from the 1st day i took my car. is this a kind of paint defect? i thought maybe some polishing works can cure this. haissshhh...dunno what other problems will arise later. maybe i'm one of the unlucky buyer...but in overall i'm happy to own this car. hopefully someone can point me some cure for these problems..thanks icon_question.gif

hi dear BLM owners. i need some info clarification here. maybe some info for you too...

last night i'm having a hard time starting my car. after around 10 minutes of trial, then the engine starts... the yellow fuel warning blinked in my last trip. then i didnt start the car for 4 days.

during the trial, a good disabled lad come and help me to start the car. he moved the gear to N and try to start the engine by revving a little bit. after a few try then it start with some burn smell...i'm a little bit worry here as my my car is new and the mileage is just 2000k (havent service the car yet sweat.gif ). then he said that RON95 is not good for BLM. dont left it (near empty fuel) for too long as the fuel will evaporate, reduced and make the engine hard to start.

is it true? or a myth? it seem logical to me. after this i'll not let my car fuel near empty again nod.gif

any petrol also would evaporate...maybe its true ron95 evaporate faster than 97...especially when leaving the car 4days with 1-5liter petrol.seems like its would be almost empty...plus cold engine, any car also would have trouble starting up

could you tell us the petrol brand..it might be low quality ron95
*
i'm using petronas ron95 starting from previous the fuel hike. before hike, i'm always using ron97 fuel. i can feel the slight loss of power and higher FC. before changing to ron95, i can drive up to 320km. but after changing to ron95, the most i can go is 280km. i have no choice as i'm using the maybankcard (no points for other pump stations). till now, 4 full tank of ron95 refills had been made.

your car under the Sun all the time?
or maybe u didnt close the fuel port "penutup minyak" tightly/properly?
*
my car is parked under the apartment all the time. even my previous car paint looks like new although it was already 2 years old (2K paint). and about the fuel cap, i'll always turn cap until there is 'clipping' sound.
