Pity you....I think better change tyres to Michelin. I heard its more expensive than Goodyear's tyres. For me I would claim insurance. Coz repairing these damages might be costly.

a few hundred to repair it , but the exact cost nid to count my the mechanic first... cry.gif

damn...

i think the bumper i ask mechanic to fix it wihtout replacing, cos i planning to change custom bumper during end of this year.

for bonet, radiator holding bar and anti crash bar, i try to ask the mechanic to knock it back.

i think can be fixed in rm400 i think.

luckily radiator is ok, if not i usre claim insurans.

If roughly RM400+ then if you can pay try avoid insurance. Because insurance very 'mah fun' to claim one. Take ages to claim the money. Luckily radiator not pecah or else cost a bomb.

As the red rectangular in the photo above, may i know what the purpose of this spark plug (connected by green cable)? This one is extra or just 1 out of the four?

Anyway, just pumped a full tank RON95 when my fuel warning signal came out, but only can pump 28 Litre, and the official spec about full tank is 40L, so does it means still got 10+ L fuel left when the fuel hit the last bar in the meter? hmm.gif

I guess that green wire is the drive by wire thing. So you won't see any cable alike in this car as this car is drive by wire. Older cars got cable so you can pull it and accelerate the rpm. That's what I think la don't know whether is it correct or not. Paiseh if I am wrong. tongue.gif

I had some doubts about my car's braking system. Last time, only during cold mornings I encounter some screeching sound from the back drum brakes. Now even during hot days the sound occurs even I am driving at 20km/h-30km/h. Should I send for my car overnight at SC so that they can rectify what is the problem? I am kinda worry that this would effect my braking system in the long run. Does anyone had this kind of problem and had the problem solved? Really need some feedback about this matter. Thanks.

Same as mine dude. Is it Auto? Because for City drive alone with the new RON95 I can get about EXACTLY 170-180KM.

But today I did 100% highway drive for IronMan event at Putrajaya, for RM 30 I can go 221.3KM.

You guys are really lucky. My one even with RON95 or RON 97, RM30 still only gives me maximum 130KM-140KM range. But my one rarely touches 90km/h due to 100% city driving. Mostly 60km/h.

Dear all,can you guys and gals please help me to  identify wats the problem with my car ? Got tak tak tak sound.. Isit the IAFM problem or engine knocking ?

Click here to view video !!!

Using Ron95 with NGK iridium plugs.

I suspect it is. Based on the sound is so loud. Like some machine or lorry engine's sound. Better go had a check at ur service centre.

Added on October 7, 2009, 10:47 amI just want to ask you guys normally pump which brand of petrol? Last time before price hike, I used to pump Shell RON97 where RM30 will gives me 140KM+ range. After price increased, changed to Shell RON95. The mileage was so low. RM30 would only gives me around 110Km-130km range. Got any other better petrol that gives better FC? Plus, I found out sometime my car hard to start during cold mornings.

caltex and bhp are better. any petrol brand is better than shell nowadays
*
My house there only got Shell and Petronas. Caltex don't even exist in my area. So does BHPetrol. In this case Petronas better than Shell? I really need to change the petrol after the terrible FC and also significant power loss after using Shell RON 95.

my horn is the opposite. quite difficult to get it sounding. gotta press real hard. frustrates me more when i couldnt honk at some idiots sometimes.

the engine has afew more horses compared to other 1.3. but its really noisy and not the desired noise.  shakehead.gif

Same here. I even planned to change my whole steering wheel because 10 out of 9 times during emergencies, I cannot activate the horn due to I need to press it super hard in order to sound it. MoMo Steering seems expensive if I were to install. But my one got air-bag so...for time being try to get used to it lo. nod.gif
