Went back from 1st service just now...here the changing list.

1.Petronas Semi SY800 15/50W RM97
2.OIL filter RM12.22
3.Gear oil + treatment RM67.50
OIL sump gasket RM2.91

Total RM179.60....WTF....i got doubt on gear oil, is it really need to changed for only 1000km?

For the new user as well, if u do ur service, check the list before they changed it...just now they include all those useless items inside, engine oil treatment, fuel treatment and engine flush which will cause another RM100++....they just write inside without asking me, only when i ask them they said depends on your budget....WTF, is it my face look so wealthy?

hmm when i went for my 1st service, they gave me like 3 options, whether i want the semi syn, syn and another one i dont rmbr.
but it was like in package d, i just ask them to not include screen wash. I think mine was around your price..

I think for the Auto user no need to change gear oil in 1st service...becos before they change they ask me whether is auto or manual...my friend who using Auto BLM also cost 90+ for 1st service and no gear oil change... and yes, the mineral engine oil only RM60+...i request them to put in semi syn...

The only thing that i dislike is they dun ask before they change for you, so as a user, we must check the list before confirm to change...becos i actually went to two SC today, the 1st one mineral oil + gear oil + filter need RM154+, but no others such as oil treatment etc, i still think is expensive so i went to 2nd SC, and for the same things they charged RM144 only... also thats why i know the extra things are unnecessary when i service at 2nd SC.

They even got an option which is 'bacteria kill' for aircon system...my friend did it...alamak...where got so many bacteria la...

but now that they change it for u....remember it
and do it only at 25k...not 20k
need to remind them....or else they thought u dn't know anything

Before you hand-over the key for service, ask what would the service be like.

Take it as a proof of what you see in your receipt later, so you can argue with a reason.

Most SC will do it on drivers who send the car for service.

Just be careful will do.

guys, better check ur car paint while washing ur car...mine got a spot size like 5 cent, which looks like greyish on the roof...btw, my car is silver, so i tutup sebelah mata dulu...

my friend's silver blm got more such spots according to him...

This is what i doubt. Both of SC also said manual car gear oil have to change at 1st service. but anyway, since they changed it adi, then nvm la, thanks for your remind.

when i drive my car on highway, it seems that not stable...
especially when 'angin' come, can feel the car 'kena tarik'...haha
btw, i change sport rim 15" and tyre size 195/55...so the car is quite 'tinggi'...
does it affect on the car aerodynamic???
