yeah..if u ok with red color and no reverse sensor, no electric mirror, airbag then go for it..really worth.

Yea. But my parents don't like solid colour which was hard to maintain. Plus, they only had manual option which my parents want auto transmission instead of manual.

drum brake it's good enough la for a 1.3 car, drum brake it's more comfort as well, you're not racing everyday isnt it?juz upgrade front brake pad, steel braided hose, and it's fine ad,find the brake pad with ceramic 550 degree celcius, from 100 to immediate stop within 4 seconds
*
Is it true that our stock brake pads will create some screeching sound when it's cold? Happen alot of times when car is cooled down. Brake a little got screeching sound, then later after drive for some time the sound gone already. Thought my brake pad worn out so fast. Tak sampai 3000KM traveled.

my horn cannot press on the left side... only can function at right side...
bottom also cannot...

can adjust??? i send to proton edar, they say memang macam itu punya...
*
It's normal for bottom part where you press it doesn't horn. Only left and right side. But always in an emergency I can't activate the horn even press left/right side. I think the steering wheel design got some flaws. It should be designed for easier activation of horn. Like Myvi press abit got horn ad. Wanted to change steering wheel but my one got air-bag.

Is it true that our Automatic gearbox is manufactured from Mitsubishi company?

About auto gearbox...err...don't know whether you guys got experienced this situation before or not. Last few days, I was in a hurry to park my car until the extend that I push down to "R" too quick when my car is still traveling 20km/h. Then there is a loud "Crackkk" like manual car clutch's press not deep enough then you place gear(den got "crackkk" sound). Would this spoil my auto gearbox? I didn't do it on purpose the other day. =.=

I got a question to ponder, is it ok for us to mix RON97 with RON95 petrol? Some user said need to reset ecu. Looks very technical to me. Maybe next few days going to pump RON 95 petrol.

dun worry..i mixed ron95-97 last time, no problem at all...about reset ecu thingy, our car is selflearning and self adjusting..not neccesaryly to reset the ecu...

if like 80% is ron95 and 20% is ron97..so it will be consired ron95...same thing, if ron97 is more than ron95...so it might be considered as ron97

what makes the difference is the level of octane...
*
Ohh OK...Haha...I am not so technical person. Thanks for the explanation. =)

Yea its true. I seldom use my car to travel far. So after roughly 6 months mileage only 2600km plus. Now servicing my car. 2nd service. tongue.gif

I don't know whether is it me or what. I heard the newer batch of Saga had better soundproofing on both of the back doors. The door closing look alike like Myvi's front door slam. Got like sound proofing installed. I comparing to mine like metal hitting when closing the door. Envy...

i noticed that newer batch has bonet/boot trim..
*
My one is the one with bonnet trim. With door visor too. Just a more newer one. The other day I went for service their display unit is the latest batch like roughly they got it around August 2009. The door slam very soft. Too bad I got no money to do sound proofing.

huh? what kind of bonet/boot trim wor...how it looks like? I Know my boot there at the top part of the boot like got something look like soundproofing material kind of thingy...is that what u referring to?
*
Yea like carpet looked alike soundproofing material when you open the bonnet. Last week, I have a look at my service center's White Saga display unit in their showroom. Trying to close the door at the back like Myvi's front doors slamming sound. Very elegant.

door slamming on myvi is quite good...even better than h-line persona...but persona door is heavier than myvi...but soundproof on persona is much better than myvi
*
Yes...but the other day that Saga's back door...the sound look alike Myvi's front door closing sound. I think Proton did some sound proofing on their newer batch of Saga.

Don't know whether is it me or RON95 itself is making my car feel so underpower after using it. Need to press more to 2.6k rpm then only feel the power. Last time press throttle around 2.2k to 2.4 k rpm can felt the power. Plus, the aeroplane sound not so loud ad. Does you guys got "these" kinds of feeling after pumping RON95 petrol? Btw, my one is auto. =.=

Indeed i never hear the aeroplane sound anymore ~~ However the "Gear Change" like smoother compared to 97 @@
Or just my feeling
Maybe you can try the Ron95 under mobil? So far my saga auto seem to be more responsive and actually can really really feel the difference when going up mini-slopes ~
*
Yea..about gear changes now I also noticed not so vibrate/jerky when it changes especially gear 1 to gear 2. I using Shell RON 95. Don't know about Mobil coz my area got only Petronas n Shell. So choose Shell. Hopefully fuel consumption not so high. Now waiting for it to become last bar. Finger crossed.

tires now starting to hav 'eekkk' sound when moving slow and braking, some say is due to brake pad and some say due to misalignment. so how now?
*
That's the same problem I am facing every morning. Now even worst almost everytime. When let them service, the say nothing wrong when go home sound come back ad. =.=". I do think the sound is from the rear tyres...drum brakes got problem I think.
