Hmm, some technical question here.

1. Based on the gear ration calculator, i noticed that at the same speed auto transmission rev lower than manual, is it true? Usually the auto car rev higher than manual in the same speed, no?

2. M-line tyre is 185/60R14, B-line is 175/70R 13, the difference only the width and rim size rite? How about the diameter of the tyre?

Hope someone can give an answer, thank you..

so what do u think about the different?
*
Then may i say nearly no different? hmm.gif Because i read those measurement from 'car bibles' and noticed that the reading is only for the high of sidewall, sectional width and rim size...but some how the diameter also got some differences.. rclxub.gif

Anyway, that means at the same RPM, M-line saga is slightly faster than B-Line Saga... laugh.gif

did u realized about both rims which 1 using aloi, 1 using steel?
*
both rims? i thought only M-line got rim...anyway, should be M-line using aloi rim and B-line using steel with plastic cover...by the way, what's the purpose of ur question? hmm.gif

duh..do u know what are rims? m-line uses aloi rims, by right should be lighter than b-line's steel rims. which indirectly makes the so-called m-line is faster than b-line.get what i mean?both car are the same in term of power and weight.

GibsonBFG
stocks are always a minimum requirement. getting into accidents are normal for stock tyres as the grip aint the best in rainy days. dun compare b and m for its tyres and rims. U can change it anyway if ur not happy with it..its a wear and tear product thou.
*
I said M-line 'faster' than B-line totally based on their circumference, so at same engine RPM, M-line should be slightly faster than B-line, this is what i guess, of course both have 'almost the same' power to weight ratio... wink.gif

About the rim, thanks for the clarification, because last time i called B-line rim, the dealer just said it don't have rim but only 'cap'... laugh.gif

Just went to service my central lock system and my steering wheel...the left front door lock sot sot...luckily only socket inside the door loose only, again it shown the poor workmanship of Proton production site...for the steering, he just took out the 'center pad' and adjust the screw (damn simple structure), no more vibration noise... thumbup.gif

The door panel is actually a damn cheap simple structure, nothing inside, but i saw the front speaker 'lubang', actually inside adi got front speaker wire, so just add in the speaker i will have M-line audio system, somemore i can choose the better one... tongue.gif next time can DIY it after i watched him unmount the panel... brows.gif

Anyway, i went to Rahman Brothers SC at Tun Aminah (I stay at Johor), the guy who repair my car is very kind, happy to deal wif him, next time 1st service i will definitely go there again... thumbup.gif not like the SC near my place, till today still rest, WTF vmad.gif

I noticed saga has alot of problems concerning locking doors...

Like my saga right now has problem with the passenger left door. When im driving sometimes the 'didnt close the door properly light' comes on.. on and off.. but i know 100% that the door is closed. The sensor thingy, the contact point btwn ur door and the rubber sensor thingy isn't in close contact. And now even worse, my alarm goes off because of this stupid problem.

I honestly like saga.. but all the minor problems sometimes is a pain.
*
Absolutely agree, dude. Is a pain when those minor problem comes out.

That day i fixed the steering vibration noise, today the steering seems loose again, noise reappear sad.gif I want to open the screw, but the screw is '6 star' type, i don have those screw driver la... cry.gif

Just went to SC AGAIN just now, this one near my place one...

They took out the steering wheel 'horn plate' and said too many free play for that and he also analyze the cause of the noise...the noise is come from metal plate, only got 1 screw to tighten it, and the other 2 axis just use plastic clip to secure, thats why the metal plate vibrate and got noise...he use the washer to 'kepit' and screw it again, so far no noise come when i ride across the yellow line and bumpy surface of the road...but if u using the hand to knock it, still can hear it...the boss of that SC told me go to claim warranty from the Proton...

he also very honestly to told me that Saga BLM is the 2nd worst proton's car below of 1st place Savvy blink.gif he told me the brake of Saga is 'dangerous', so everytime go to SC, must urge the person to check the brake system for you...When i complain about the 'zzzzz' noise coming from here or there, he just reply me 'banyak lagi akan datang'... cry.gif

One sad fact he told me was the 'tak tak tak' sound coming from the engine is not caused by IAFM, even you change it 10 times also useless. The culprit for this noise is come from the rod inside the manifold. he said the original one is too long, hence need to modified and cut become shorter to solve the problem. I'm not sure whether it is true or not, because i read through this thread and found a lot of user after changed IAFM the noise still there, maybe you guy can discuss about that.

stock tires = tires that come with car, original unchanged.

btw guys here's some pics of my new armrest. the color is very matching although the armrest is a bit low. good thing is that it doesnt block my gear shifting and the handbrake release (block a bit only but i think its much better than most armrest).
*
haha, look at your seatbelt 'switch'(don't know what it call) still covered by plastic bag...not even a piece left within 1 hour after i got my car... laugh.gif tongue.gif

this is my very 1st FC calculation...

RM53 for 344KM...so approx. 15.4 cents/KM...40% highway, 60% garden road + stop go...to be honest only yesterday i started my car not less than 10 times, because of that lousy steering, so just drive around those bumpy road to test it, totally waste my fuel... doh.gif

get meguiars scratchx, about RM 60, quite expensive but worth it cos it can remove a lot of fine scratches..if the paint chip then cannot.
*
Thanks bro, but this product common or not? Can it be found at Jusco or other shopping mall?

i am driving manual full spec...i think 5-6 bars..just left 1 bar empty...

my fren drive auto...but his car the other day was blinking like mine, then his car stop stopped half way cos no petrol ady  doh.gif ,

so i got scared i drove to the petrol station to  fill in..scared stop like my frens car... sweat.gif
*
Mine is BLM manual B-line...when the fuel logo blink, my tank still got 10+L...anyway, the indicator is not accurate at the bottom line, because the logo just showed a while and off and light on again, depends on slope of the road or cornering angle.

Got a question.

Is it possible to make the air-con to blow at the windshield / feet area?

I did see the vents for directing the air-con to the windshield (not sure about the feet area, haven't looked), but I did not see any setting to do that on the main console.
*
directing the air con to the windshield? you meant the front windshield?

just bought mine a month ago, noticed the same sound u mention(front left door and dashboard sound) whenever the road gets a bit bumpy.
however when i remark the matter to technician during 1st service, he couldn't notice the sound because only drive it near the service center(no bumpy road).

from what your experiece, the technician told u that the door sound cannot be fixed, meaning he already had other saga owners complain same thing? please do find out if u can to confirm this 'default abnormality'.
*
A lot of BLM users encountered that problem as well, include me...for the door, most of them the door lock metal bar is the culprit...for the dashboard, i just insert a sponge and the problem fixed...for the door, i think probably will DIY myself also...because the interior of BLM can be called as 'plastic car', vibration noise is unavoidable, especially if your car often put under hot sun...i give up on those SC adi, they can't help at all..
