Sharp LC37A66M" FULL HD AQUOS LCD TV and Panasonic 42LZ80MK Full HD..
which one is better?

Sharp for LCD TV. Panasonic for Plasma. But do note that the Sharp you put up is a 37" while the Pana is 42"

because my budget around 3.5k

Go for bigger tv.

dun think both tv u mentioned cost that much...shud be just a little over 3k. both cost almost the same, why 37inch then? 42 lerr...

among these 2, panasonic is better. sharp days are over.

actually the panasonic model is one of the best.

i though sharp LCD panel is japan made? or just marketing gimmick but the quality so so?

japan made doesn't mean sh!t to me. they display it so big because sharp got nothing else to boast.
why samsung is the best TV seller these days, but not any jap company like sony?!

it is just a worse LCD compared to the pana LCD.

search around. the pana LZ80 is one of the best out there.

only recently sharp comes out with 66 and 77 series with above 30K dynamic contrast. other brands have that contrast level for ages already.

The bset way is to compare side by side both,from here you may judge by yrself but depends what are yr play back source.Was it for astro,tv ch,dvd or bluray ?
Some may like LCD and some may like Plasma,depending on yrself what u like with.Hope thai would help to to choose when side by side to compare.

i vote for panasonic..

Sony new gen LCD TV will be using (or already using) Sharp's ASV panel. The panel is quite ok. The other thing being overlook in determining how good a LCD TV would look is the 'engine' itself; processor.
