without selecting the Assisted GPS you will get slower lock on, just because the GPS is waiting for your position conformation. untill few minute (tested at open air), it will lock on for you as well. by this way you way, you save 10~15 cent per lock on.
if youre traveling inside the car and lock on without selecting Assisted GPS. you will need MORE longer time to conform your position during you are moving around.
