Convert your video to H264

I've found the correct setting to convert my video to H264 format which is playable with our tube.

Software to use: Mediacoder (free)
setting to use:
under video tab:
set bitrate (400 to 500) is quite good.
Profile: Baseline / Level: 1.1 /B-frames:1 / Subpel: 6 /Predictor frames:1 /Motion Est: Hexagonal / Range:16

under audio tab:
Encoder: FAAC / Bitrate: 128 (quite good) /container:AAC

nder Picture tab: (i think this one is most important)
Resize: 320x180 global / crop: (I like to crop base on height) / Framerate: 25 / Aspect Ratio: 16/9

You can set your subtitle too...

It produce very good result compare to encode with divx 640x360 x1K bitrate eventhough its only half of the size and produce very much smaller size file. It's a magic of H264! Try it yourself!

Added on June 27, 2009, 12:02 pmYou still can use opera to view video in youtube. when u clikc the link it's playable with built-in realplayer. Just remember to setup the connection.... make sure it connected to your default wifi (not connect to 3g).

I found out with opera if I use to much finger to scroll, it's crashed. Next time if u want scroll just make it very very slow.... and gentle

Bro another setting you have to take care is under sound tab.
I've come across many videos I've converted contains AC3+ have 6 channels and it's not working in our tube.
Make sure you tick channel mapping; output channels=2.

Last time I installed fring... but it's eat battery very fast....
The moral is ... maybe one of your program running background eat battery fast...

It "may be" a bit slow... 'cos this theme supplied with lots of customised icons.

Contact Picture Screen Caller

Hi all,

Do you realize that contact picture that appeared when receiving a call is too small for out tube. Regardless any size I tried to put in, its still appear small (I like to say it tiny!).... around 96 x 96 pixel. Our tube is 360 x 640. Just imagin how tiny it is!!

One thing I figure out... my contact picture that came from my previous pocket pc contains image size 260 x 240 pixel still intact and produce quite good. My problem how to set that size to our Nokia contact picture. Its seem Nokia phone converts to tiny size again....

I've experienced this before. I solved it by changing iphonesque (UA change) back to normal. I dont know if u install this program or not...

To remove the missing application, just re-install and remove it.

I do not care enough about phone camera. Enough if I can take picture in emegency. To get quality picture I always use digital camera. How many of us now does not have digital camera...

And for this month how many times you use phone camera to take picture?

I can say that picture taken from my tube is reasonably good for me.....

My tube is "AP set" bought RM1080. If I want to drop stand and tv cables, I could get another RM50 less.

What wrong with AP? It's still original and paid for tax. AP is different from "underwater"!

First time using bluetooth to receive file from a friend....
My problem is how to transfer the file I received to memory card? It's in main memory and took quite amount of my precious memory.

option 1 - I still can retrieve it because I dont know the folder the file keeps
option 2 - save it to memory card - no such option to our tube to do that...

No shortcut here.. I think u need to reinstall. For java app try using midletrestorer. But if your sd card file structure already corrupt, better reinstall everything. It's happened to me once.
