I m using the original rubber pouch provided in the box.
I have used the phone with the pouch for 1 month, now I realise the pouch actually scratches the top surface edges of the phone.
Anyone have this problem? Can this be claimed for warranty?

arr... having scratch on it doesnt look cool! Can I blame Nokia for providing a pouch that causes scratches and ask for a housing replacement? Anyone has done that before?

2) YOU WANT TO BUY A TUBE?

Step 3
Tube is known to have a few problems
1) Earpiece problem <-- New Batch Problem Fix
You can check this by pressing on the earpiece when making a call the volume should be constant and not soft then loud.
2) Battery loose problem
You can check this by shaking the phone the screen should not turn off
3) Light Leakage Problem
Most phone having this problem on the top right where your signal bar is look under there should be some light leaking out

If you found any problem with your phone immediate insist to change another set.

Step 4
Check out their accessories maybe you can get a bundle price for it
a) Screen protector
b) Windscreen Mount for your phone
c) USB charger to Nokia 2.5 inch head

Step 5
Congratulations you now own a BLUE or RED or BLACK TUBE.
Step 6 Just Get Your Tube? Now?
First thing to do when you get your tube is Do a soft format by *#7370# and the lock code default is 12345 before start using to prevent certificate error

I am able to see the light leakage only in a dark room. Does this mean that my phone has the light leaking problem too?
There should no light to be seen under the battery signal bar when we look at in in 45 degrees?

including installation?

i have no idea. i dun think it includes installation as they are giving the installation guide.

I wonder how nice the invisibleSHIELD will fit into the phone. It states that its crystal clear as if its invisible and removal of it doesnt leave sticky residual.
I seen before people using the "cellophane tape" like which they call it laminate. It doesnt look cool.

invisibleSHIELDThis is the local dealer that I found in the Zagg's official site.

Invisible shield is not really invisible , it got those orange peel on it but very minimal.  biggrin.gif
But it's tough though!
*
O.. so does it cover every dimension of the phone? I mean especially the curves of the body.
Is it hard to install? I came accross some bad review of ZAGG in the Blackberry Storm, they claim that the screen became unresponsive with the ZAGG on it.

I wud suggest u not to use the original rubber case provided in the box. It scratches my phone! But some people does not hv this problem.

Sent my 5800 to change the front cover in Nokia Service Centre. I felt that my GARMIN performance has significant drop.

Any idea to check if someone removed the A-GPS from the phone?

A-GPS  is just the system that retrieves a list of satellite from Nokia to speed up locking time. I don't think you can remove it? Anyways why was your front cover changed? Loose?
*
o... so basically A-GPS is a software and not a hardware? If thats the case then I am relieved. Because my Garmin work well before this, recently the lock-on time is slower, sometimes lost satelite in the midst of navigation. In certain area like Ulu Kelang, cant fins satelite.

I had my front cover changed because its scratched by the original rubber pouch. Now had it change its a bit loose sad.gif

Yes, A-GPS is more of a software function instead of some special hardware. Check if your A-GPS has been disabled or not.

Wah, didn't know the case getting scratched by original rubber pouch can be claimed.
*
Yea.. It can be claimed. The assissted gps has not been disabled.
How come when I check the internet, it claims that agps is an antenna and integrated circuit? Which means its a hardware.. I mean I'm not very sure too. I'm just being suspicious since it doesnt work well recently.

Haha, no worry. this subject are too subjective & depends on our preference  smile.gif
I also did the soft reset last night.
Maybe u can try to wait for a while for the process to complete - depend on your memowry card class & how many files you got in there.
mine need to patiently wait roughly around 10 ~ 20minutes on class2 MC & 5GB occupied.
*
waited about 20mins too. Many thanks

Added on July 27, 2009, 4:00 pmactually I did the soft reset because I cant access to my sms. Unless I changed it to phone memory, I guess there must be some clashes in the memory card when I received a bluetooth file.

now even after the reset, I still cant access to my sms in the memory card. Any had this problem before?
