there is an option in outlook that you can configure to leave the downloaded mail in your mail server for certain days before it gets deleted from your mail server. i usually set it to 5 days. then after 5 days i would not be able to retrieve the mail in any other application or device.I managed to set up my office mail (Outlook) on my N97.
