Just go to PTPTN One Stop Center at level 2 KL sentral..1-download the cancelation form and submit it to ptptn via U's HEP
2-how to pay back?and how much?
3-after paying back all the money, need to sign anything?(or have to do any other things?)
thx
Been there, done canceling my loan, because I got other sponsorship, and to get that sponsorship, i need to cancel any current sponsorship and show "Surat Pelepasan" or "release letter" from PTPTN (correct translation or not?)
basically all i did was like this.
-go to PTPTN at KL Sentral,
-ambil nombor (pilih "Pertanyaan")
-ask for loan cancellation, (basically after cancellation, need to repay back in lump sump within 60 days)
-but if you got proof showing that you are still studying, or further study by showing the offer letter (must be certified true copy by Pegawai kelas A),
you can delay the payment until the date you finish study,
-need to fill in "Borang penangguhan bayaran balik" and attach relevant certified true copy with it.
-and to get "Surat Pelepasan", at the PTPTN KL Sentral, got 3 computers provided for public usage, inside there already got template, you need to write a formal letter asking for surat pelepasan, inside the computer already got surat made by some students, so you just need edit it using Microsoft word to change it to your name, address and ic. Printer is provided too, so after print, can straight go submit at the counter (no need to take number)
-"Surat Pelepasan" will be ready in 3 working days..
and remember, after you finish study, you still need to pay back the loan in lump sump.. because you only delay the "perintah membayar"
