Added on April 16, 2012, 9:31 pm QUOTE(EvRyuk @ Apr 16 2012, 09:18 PM) i got something to ask...my spm result only have 2 credit which are english and math, and my bm get D. I'm taking certificate and soon will be proceed to diploma, can i know whether i can use my certificate result to apply ptptn for my diploma? I think it is possible. Because PTPTN is not regarding to your results. It is about your tuition fees. Just my opinion. Hope it helps. This post has been edited by lesliechan19: Apr 16 2012, 09:31 PM |

QUOTE(hirano @ Jun 5 2012, 01:02 AM) Did you receive the sms or email stating it was diluluskan? When is the stated that say it lulus already? yup it is lulus already, and i have submitted all the documents before the dateline. Many of my friends did not receive the loan yet. I not sure is because different uni may have different duration for this loan. But my 2nd sem is getting nearer. Just wish i can get the loan so i can pay my tuition fees on time. Ah this PTPTN is killing me, making me so nervous. Normally after said diluluskan, the money will be banked to u after 21 days (-/+ 3-4 weeks). If after 4 weeks still don't receive, phone ptptn HQ. Though different uni may have different duration, who knows. |

Hi guys,
I have received an email from PTPTN yesterday regarding on my out standing amount, email content as below: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I am wondering does this mean i have to clear the outstanding amount in order to travel oversea? The reason of this post is because I just received a job offer in China and leaving end of the year, and i am afraid this might affect my oversea work (ie: barred from travel overseas). I have also checked immigration website and it says I am not barred from travel at the moment. Of course, I am planning to payback when I started to work in China. Is anyone encounter the same situation before? Thanks. |

QUOTE(szb @ Oct 24 2016, 09:43 AM) i received an email from ptptn last july. Thanks for the reply. I have not receive the second notice regarding my name will be sent to JIM for blacklisting. as you can read from the email, if you have arrears more than 6 months, your name will be sent to J.I.M. for blacklisting. but imo, just pay back the money that you owing not worth to risk your new job for few thousands ringgit btw i received this email even though i do not have any arrears... However, I am gonna start paying back monthly this month. One thing bothering me is I afraid I will be blacklisted because I cant afford to pay the total overdue amount. Do you think I am allowed to travel if I only settle partial of the overdue loan? Thanks. |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Oct 24 2016, 12:18 PM) I think u better visit their office first.. Okay, will do. Some mention pays around 1k or 2k first, so not to make your name appear in ccris.. Anyway, do you have idea any how accurate is the status from Immigration of Malaysia? As for now my name is still " Tiada Halangan Status: Sah pada waktu dan tarikh semakan dibuat.", but I will start paying back this month just to ensure my name wont ended up in the blacklist. This ptptn loan is making me paranoid!! Thanks! This post has been edited by lesliechan19: Oct 24 2016, 12:31 PM |

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Oct 24 2016, 12:36 PM) Sometimes the info not so accurate.. oh s, that's bad. Is this what happened to you before? Previously some did check the status. Okay clear.. When in airport want to depart, immigration stop. Says barred.. So after nego nego, pays some amount like 1k something. Get piece of paper saying clear temporary. Can take flight.. They should have updated the website constantly. Any idea in what circumstances they will put us in the blacklist? |

QUOTE(jishu @ Oct 24 2016, 02:15 PM) 1st step : You need to go to the closest PTPTN branches Hi Jishu,2nd step : Now that you reveived that email, meaning that your name already in CCRIS. Bad lah since got tunggakan. To clear your name, you need to pay FULL or HALF of the tunggakan and then restructured the monthly payment. 3rd step : Once you agree, then you pay the amount, either you want to pay full or half, and then you need to complete new agreement (For Restructuring Purposes) 4th step : Then after that, you just need to pay the restructured amount every month lah. IF you pay the FULL amount of tunggakan, you dont need to restructure the monthly paymnet. But if you pay HALF, then you need to restructure Thank you for the complete instruction on this matter. Does this mean I need to clear my overdue amount before i am allowed to travel to China? I think it is better to restructure my monthly loan as I couldn't afford that huge amount with my first job in Malaysia. |

QUOTE(Duckies @ Oct 24 2016, 02:21 PM) Well I got the letter saying I have tunggakan cause I didn't pay for long time. I didn't clear the tunggakan by either paying full or half either. I just started paying monthly and so far for the past 6 months didn't get any letter. Didn't get barred from going overseas as I just got back from Australia and Thailand. Hahaha. TBH, i am planning to do it like that way if they did not blacklist me from travel. But it definitely appeared in CCRIS. If u go check your CCRIS, you will notice there's tunggakan at PTPTN there. Will impact house, car and other loan I guess but I still getting new credit cards from banks...maybe some banks just don't care But you should listen to the advice that jishu gave. I think that's the most legit way to deal with this. But after received the email 3 months before my flight to China, it sure gives me a heart attack. Also, does it mean I can register a credit card as long as I have no overdue in my PTPTN account? I find this tread very useful la. Thank you all the PTPTN sifus. |

QUOTE(Duckies @ Oct 24 2016, 02:52 PM) You can give it a try. If you don't want to take risk or gamble, the best thing you can do is to go to PTPTN office and negotiate for the monthly payment/restructure. Then you pay back monthly with the amount you agreed. Or if you don't give a shit, then just start paying monthly with an amount (300-500 maybe) that you are comfortable with and then monitor few months to see if there's still any warning letter. My plan is to start paying RM500 starting end of this month until December, and maybe 2 weeks before i am leaving to China will drop by one of the PTPTN office and discuss with them on the restructure. Then when you are financially better or have more monthly, then you re-adjust again the monthly payment. At least they see i have started to paying back the loan and hopefully wont blacklist me from travel la. |
