QUOTE(LYR @ Oct 15 2009, 11:59 AM) they'll look at your GPA. i got another question. my GPA is less than 2.0 for this long sem and i got another short sem before the next payment of PTPTN on Jan 2010. so, will they look at my long sem results or short sem results? Hmm not really sure, but there is a ptptn forum in the ptptn website, maybe u can ask there..But since short sem isn't recognize..so my guess wud be the long sem..but i might be wrong =) |

QUOTE(-gullible- @ Nov 18 2009, 10:34 PM) Hehe, didn't read through the whole thread. The max loan you can get from PTPTN depends on the course you are pursuing. Like me, im taking diploma in business studies which is under arts stream -my full loan is 20K. There should be no difference between SPM and STPM grad, as long as your qualifications are sufficient to apply for apply for the loan.Anybody knows what is the max loan we can get from PTPTN? Any diff between SPM or STPM graduate? Can we get higher loan overall if our course is maybe 4 years compared to the commonly 3 years course? Example if I want to do ADP, it's 4 years but the fees is maybe just 50k? Any chance can get RM16K X 4 years instead of just RM48k max? Mind to share, anybody? thanks About ADP im not so sure, maybe others can help you out or u can check the ptptn website. |

QUOTE(michelle_s @ Jan 3 2011, 11:01 PM) hi,i have a urgent problem regarding the minimum requirement for PTPTN loan.I have register courses for UTAR Degree. Now i just found out that have document state that my STPM(im STPM student) did not get CGPA 2.0 minimum i cant get the PTPTN loan start from 1st semester.Cause i did not get Cgpa 2.0 in my STPM cz i failure my maths. Yes, you may use your 1st semester results to apply. Usually there would be another application as a new intake of students come in.Anyone can guide me about this???lost about this ='= and what is other way i can loan ptptn?use my 1st semester result?? Added on January 10, 2011, 12:02 am QUOTE(saw2001 @ Jan 3 2011, 10:25 PM) Yes for certain pre-u programs (foundation programs) which are MQA certified. Unfortunately programs like SAM, A-leves and such are not covered. This post has been edited by weichi: Jan 10 2011, 12:02 AM |

QUOTE(stlove @ Feb 10 2012, 09:07 PM) I already get rm20,000 for my diploma course, if i want to apply ptptn for my degree, how much can i get? my degree course would be rm69,888......and i am from private college. Depends on your course & the income of your family. If your income is below a certain quota, you are eligible for the full loan.Added on February 10, 2012, 9:08 pmI already get rm20,000 for my diploma course, if i want to apply ptptn for my degree, how much can i get? my degree course would be rm69,888......and i am from private college. QUOTE(stlove @ Feb 12 2012, 11:58 PM) only 48k for degree? i want to take bachelor in accounting, my course is rm69888, is not enough for me. they wont give extra if let say my cgpa is at 3.80 and my family income very low. umm I suppose Bachelor in Accounting would be under Bachelor of Arts? Correct me if i'm wrong, but if its in the Arts stream, the max you can get is rm48k.This post has been edited by weichi: Feb 13 2012, 01:08 AM |

Just wanna check with you guys over here.
Have any of you guys received double payment before? My current situation is that I registered for my course during September 2011 which i had to make my own payment to my uni first. I applied for ptptn on Nov 2011. My 1st payment arrived during Feb'12 - RM7944 My 2nd payment arrived Sept' 12 - RM 7944 x 2/RM 15, 888 I am required to make my payment on September this year and also Feb next year. So, the double payment I received this month is to compensate my first initial payment? Or for my Feb fees next year? Will I be receiving my Feb loan? |
