With regards to the warning letter for repayment, any possibility of paying minimum amount or must pay the stated amount?

Would like to contact PTPTN but since there are still holiday-ing, best if anyone here can give some info as well.

I plan to pay a min amount and 1 shot pay back later on next turn discount (which seems happens frequently). hmmm..

hey guys, how's your situation? have you paid the full amount or you successfully nego with the officers?

i got the same letter as well, in fact it's the 2nd warning letter. But i've started paying months before i got the first letter. and i went to the office twice to ask them about this, but both officers told me not to worry as long as i got pay. and one of them said the letter was auto generated etc. but senarai hitam also auto generated right? sweat.gif

Consulted no need settle full amount,  just monthly installment.. Blacklisted for those who received third warning letter without make any payment yet..  You can always check online blacklisted list before you want to go overseas.

Funny thing is they started to bill me when I still studying...  Wtf..

so if i receive the 3rd warning letter i dont have to worry as i've already started to pay? just to confirm cuz that's what they told me..

Hi Guys, I need some help and advise from you guys  rclxub.gif .  I have received a second warning letter stating that I have a "tunggakan" or accumulation of RM2,455.48.
I received the first warning letter in december 30th 2014 but after that I kept paying RM50 every month.  But the second letter still came in.  Is it because I didn't pay the full amount monthly, that's why they issued the second warning letter.
Do I keep paying them my required monthly payment of RM256 or pay the RM2,455.48 and the monthly RM256 after paying the lumpsum?
It'd be great if some of you could advise me on this.  Thank you!    notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

i also received the second warning letter. but like what the guy above said, just pay monthly (as in what's stated in your agreement, i'm not sure if 50 bucks is okay but you're still paying them anyway) as usual. i've consulted 2 officers and they too said the same thing.

i also sent an inquiry to ptptn through their website, and this is what i got:

QUOTE
Selamat Sejahtera,

Tuan/puan,

Sekian, terima kasih.
i assumed he/she was talking about the same thing as in just pay monthly as usual. i'm gonna just ignore the letter and wait and see if i'm gonna get the 3rd letter.

already called. Officer said auto-generated ... but if you are paying consistently without failed for a year but still received third letters ... should ignore it until blacklisted? Can trust the officers?  sweat.gif  sweat.gif  sweat.gif
*
i think should just ignore it laugh.gif since the letter also says that abaikan if you got bayar balik.. but i'm not sure if it's saying bayar balik the outstanding amount or what that's the problem sweat.gif

if blacklisted, we also can argue i think cuz the fact that 2 officers told me to pay monthly as usual, and few forum guys here also got the same replies.

hi guys WTA..i checked my ptptn 3 months back and it showed that i have tunggaran more than 6 months..and going to blacklisted me..so i started to pay back the correct amount for these few months.. and i checked imigresen malaysia ..still not been blocked..but going to oversea next 2 months. any1 have this issue and how u settle.... think need to go counter and settle the repayment using epf..
*
hmm, i have outstanding amount too but after discussing with one of the officers, he asked me to pay RM1k and he would readjust my jadual pembayaran. now although my monthly payment has increased by 30 bucks, he has reassured me that i won't get blacklisted, as long as i pay every month based on the new adjusted jadual.

did you receive any email reminding you of the outstanding amount and saying if you can't repay, kindly discuss with the officers bla bla? they will list down few particular officers for you in the email..

QUOTE(DriksoN @ Mar 17 2016, 01:36 AM)
Something is wrong with my PTPTN. I graduated officially on August 2014 (based on my certificate). By right, I should only start paying 6 months after which is supposed to be February 2015.

But today, I was told by banker that my CCRIS shows that I did not pay for 25 months. I went to check my PTPTN statement online and indeed they start charging me since July 2013. How can this be possible?

From February 2015 to current date, I have paid around 6 or 7 times. When do they start counting the official date of my pay back? I thought it is supposed to be 6 months after graduation.

Can I make a complain to PTPTN about this? My housing loan was rejected by bank due to this reason. I was asked to clear my total outstanding (RM41k) in order to clear it off CCRIS. Any bayaran for tertunggak will not help my case at all according to banker.

What other ways can I do now?
*
could it be they started charging after they credited the last amount for your last semester? your august 2014 was when you attended the graduation ceremony? better visit their office to ask them man.

omg! applied for restructure, but paid rm3k in order to proceed the new agreement. but the new agreement does not deduct this rm3k that i just paid.

In other word, friendly and cute PTPTN official just earned 3k "agent fee"?

Is expensive than my house agent fee
Is equivalent to 4000 bungkus mee sedaap
*
unsure.gif that's weird. i did my restructuring and was required to pay 1k, and the 1k was then deducted from my total loan..

wanna ask something related to CCRIS record

so I've checked on PTPTN FAQ saying that the monthly payment has to be made latest by the 27th. https://www.ptptn.gov.my/faq-bayaran-balik-...aman-pendidikan

so meaning to say, as long as i pay before 27th, my CCRIS record will not show any outstanding (e.g., 0 will be shown instead of 1)?

Halo peeps, may I know following the budget 2022 PTPTN discount, is it wise to pay 1 lump sum or pay half?

Last time they did 20% discount, this time 15% for 1 lump sum repayment, kinda think that the 5% reduction is a key deciding factor.

I'm not sure if it's a good move to pay large amount, need to seek a second opinion..
*
i’m still hoping the government would be giving 20% discount one day.. very tempting to go for the 15% but i think i’ll skip this round

Perhaps if you just tie your card for direct debit.
Best is to check with PTPTN through live chat.

I just asked them about the discount for full settlement, and they just asked for my IC number...
and then told me what's the amount I need to pay (after 15% discount), if I manage to pay fully within 1 Nov - 30 Nov.
*
i just checked their fb and saw one of their replies saying the 10% will be applied on the monthly repayment itself instead of the full amount
