My father salary is about Rm 4200 + My Mom salari is about RM 3000...so the combine salary is about RM 7200...do you think I have a chance to get full loan from PTPTN ? I applied to study software engineering at MMU.

Let say, if  I just get half loan from PTPTN. Is there any tricks for me to get the full loan....like cheat my mom salary(like put my mom as housewive) ?
*
There is no full loan from PTPTN. The most you can get from PTPTN is only 80%. With RM7200 i don't think you will receive a lot of money and while it's theoretically possible to cheat, I would not recommend it.

What do you mean by 'There is no full loan from PTPTN. The most you can get from PTPTN is only 80%. ' ? I'm not clear enough.

Ptptn won't give you 100% loan. The most they cover is 80% of your degree fees

Let's say my course fee is 60k, so they cover 80% which is 48k. Until the end of my course, will I get 48k? Or they just issue less than 48k? Where would the remaining goes?
I'm a final year student and expecting my final issuance from PTPTN but it seems like I won't be getting the total amount which was stated in the contract earlier.

Firstly, did they state that they will give you 48k in the agreement letter?
Second, how much they give you is how much you pay back no matter what the letter says

Amount borrow by PTPTN is determine by yours course and college also.
Mostly you wont get full loan but should be > 60% i guess?
My course fees is 28k ~ 29k , and i got 20k from PTPTN [Diploma in ICT]
They also see yours parent salary , the more , the lesser you get .

Added on May 29, 2011, 5:27 pmAdd on :

Wanna to ask ,
How did PTPTN paid the money to you?
Direct to college or to yours bank?
Then how much they give per time ?[Follow by sem or %]

Just wanna to know , cause i borrowed 20k but get 3.96k on first pay.
Look so weird and that semester fees is 4.8k @_@

Hi there, may I know whether accidently closing the saving account that link for PTPTN to deposit the money will cause the problem?

I have been graduated since last year november, but then last week I decide to close the PTPTN linked saving account, so I go to close the account, after that recently I just recall the saving account I close is actually linked with the PTPTN.

So I m here asking whether the PTPTN still deposit for me the money after I graduated? or they will still continue deposit the money until the amount that we can loan even we have graduated? sad.gif sad.gif doh.gif thank you

Hey guys, I applied ptptn few months ago, and has been 'diluluskan' edi.
I printed and completed the form, agreement and other documents and sent those things to my college already.
Last few weeks, I think 3 weeks ago, they just sent all my stuff to ptptn (that's what they said)
and right now, I appealed to the college so that my fees will be paid after ptptn gave me the money.

I want to ask, how long will it take for them to transfer the money to my bank account?

My next semester is starting soon, and my previous semester's fees had not paid yet. I'm still waiting. If they can't give me the money, I don't know if I can go for next semester Q_Q

Help pl0x D:

oo, I always check my bank balance from time to time since I handed in my form to my college. It was only recently they told me that I need to add something to my documents and so, I did some corrections. After that I handed in again and they said will give to ptptn by the end of the week.

Now I receive an email saying that I've been block to enroll for next semester, which will be starting at 4th July. I still have about 2 weeks+ to wait. If I can't get the money, I can't proceed my studies D:

Am so worried now /sigh

These are the criteria:
PTPTN criteria

i think the loan only include education fees, and it does not cover full fees. Only like 80%
