Do you need back lit keys? If not then get OCZ Alchemy Elixir gaming keyboard ( ~RM99)

nice!!! biggrin.gif  thumbup.gif

anyway....how much with the backlit?

With back lit, it wont be cheap then (>RM100), at least for the branded ones.

I'd just go with that OCZ Alchemy Elixir gaming keyboard, though the price is low but its function & quality is top notch.

it's good, in terms of quality and also function, it has plenty good reviews, you can search for it.

I have not used g1, so i cant comment on it. But if you're going to buy g1, you're gonna pay for the mouse as well.

for under 100, you can't go wrong with this. The only downside i can see for this keyboard is that it's not backlit.

have you ever tried this keyboard ?
hmm.. i read some review, its said that the life span is not too long
still confuse....
*
Yea I'm using it. Life span? You shouldn't be worried about it, it just depends on how you use it,

and all keyboard's lifespan are relatively the same.

If you want long lifespan keyboard, consider mechanical keyboard.

SO many facepalm but you're not even helping, you can do that by at least explaining how is a keyboard silent? Else, keep your facepalming to yourself, thanks.

Any example of a silent keyboard?

aiyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoooooooooo......more facepalms for u.... doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

serious....silent la....that oso dunno ah? silent...lack of volume....wat other silent can there be?? just like how nkarul85 mentioned...
and X6 is not silent... i find it rather noisy...my boss uses it in the office and i can hear him typing from across the room..especially the spacebar.... though the X6 is slightly..n i mean only slightly quieter from the G15v2.

as for a silent gaming keyboard...theres none that i know of....

but for silent normal keyboard.... the microsoft wired desktop 500 keyboard is pretty silent.

Wow more facepalming, does your face hurt, Mr. Insanity himself?

Didn't know you can get so many facepalms by trying to help.

Of course I know the meaning of silent, but how silent can be considered as a silent keyboard? 0db? Never seen one. So yeah that's what i mean when I asked "what do you mean by silent".

To me low profile keys are already considered as quite silent, so I assumed.

Well, the rubbery Lycosa is quite silent..
Makes not much noise except for the stupid spacebar..
Other than dat, ntg much..

Yup, from the Lycosa reviews i read, seen someone mentioning its pretty silent nod.gif

Maybe nkarul85 can consider it.

Currently the keyboard im using, the Elixir, is quite silent too (for me at least, I think the noise is comparable to Lycosa's) when compared to normal keyboard. smile.gif
But Lycosa is still the better keyboard though tongue.gif

Guys i need some opinions here
i tried this 2 keyboards so far the Razer Arctosa Mirror and Logitech G15 keyboard i still am alittle unahppy with both...
I'm really looking for a "Fast Response" keyboard with buttons semi soft but very responsive once pressed and durable
Problem with Logitech G15
problem with the logitech g15 is that it doesnt suppport pressing 5-6 keys at the same time

i dont use the macros so im not really bothered lol
Problem with Razer Arctosa Mirror
Glossy finish is really nice, but gets dirty and you need to clean it often... responsive but not very durable (keyboard banging on a bad day lol)
any other recommendations that could possibly fit my criterias? thanks

Microsoft Sidewinder X4 or X6 nod.gif
