Anyone here owns the Sidewinder X6 and has the numpad on the left side? I tried having it on the left for at least a week and I'm still not used to it. I keep getting the macro button and control button mixed up. However no issues when the numpad is attached to the other side. It's such a shame cause I prefer the numpad on the left. sad.gif

ur gonna need to have patience and get used to it.

same thing happened when i first got my G15.... always pressed the macro buttons instead of the ctrl button.

wat i did was set the macro to ctrl. so basically nothing happens... and slowly over time... i got used to it.
only trouble is now when i use keyboards without the macros i feel damn weird...like the keyboard too short laugh.gif

I suppose you're right. I'm just too impatient to get used to it. I'm trying it without the keypad and then with the keypad now. Seems okay so far. smile.gif

I know what you mean about the G15 too. I always do that on my bro's. tongue.gif

Same other.

Well, other than the "Black backlight", to which I cant comprehend.

There's black backlight for the Sidewinder X4? Interesting.

Googled.. but still only every1 say it feels cheap. Well, its a cheap gaming keyboard wat? What else did other reviewers complaint?
*
I've tried it out. It doesn't feel cheap. Of course it can't be compared to the Logitech G15, Lycosa or the Sidewinder X6 but it's a decent mid-range keyboard. Definitely worth the price.

Oops. My bad. tongue.gif

Well, don't know much about the Arctosa. Looks pretty much like the Lycosa to me. unsure.gif

almost the same.
StratOS missed out something, Arctosa don't have the USB port at the side of the kb.
*
Yet the Arctosa is fairly cheaper than the Lycosa. I suppose cause it's missing the USB port? hmm.gif

If anyone here owns the Sidewinder X6, can you check the PrtScn, ScrLk and Pause buttons for me? Mine seems to be slightly harder to press than the other buttons. It also seems to spring up slowly instead of immediately like my other buttons. Doesn't feel natural so I'm just checking.

Edit: Nevermind. Fixed the problem. Exchanged it for another unit. thumbup.gif

cool.. i tink i'll go for the x4.. hm.. how much is x4 and g110?

y x6 fails? alot ppl seem to like it here.. but never mentioned the x4 till recently.. is it just out recently in the market

The X6 is by far the best keyboard I've used. It's comfortable to type on and macro keys are plenty. The backlighting is also one of the baddest looking out there in my opinion.

I've used the Lycosa Mirror before this and I have to tell you that the Lycosa is nowhere near this keyboard. The Lycosa doesn't even have any extra macro keys for you to configure whereas this one has 6 (or 12 because there's two macro buttons on 1 button) on the side. I'm not too sure about how customizable the X6 is to the Lycosa but so far, as far as macros go, it's really customizable. You can even turn your whole numpad into a macro board and back with a tap of a single button.

If you get the X6, you won't regret it. I know I don't. wink.gif

Does anyone here use the Lycosa without the handrest? I find it quite comfy w/o it. =)

I didn't know the armrest was detachable. yawn.gif Got a picture?
