QUOTE(captvizcenzo @ Feb 8 2010, 06:49 PM) Membran keyboard's key press life time last about 20 million press while Mechnical keyboard last about 50 million key press.so the difference is the life time. and they also introduce a function called "N-Key Rollover" which means something like antighosting. But this function only available if you use USB to PS/2 Converter and plug into PS/2 Plug, if you plug into USB plug without the use of USB to PS/2 converter. You only limited to 6 key press. because of USB Pooling Rate, so, USB is limiting the keypress. Here's my 13 years old Acer Mechanical Keyboard that i'm still using right now, For truth, i'm impressed by their durability and comfortable typing.(i kena poison » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by Cyclonechuah: Feb 9 2010, 02:07 PM |

QUOTE(mdzaboy @ Feb 13 2010, 02:32 AM) ahaks...how do u know eh? the keyboard is kinda overprice, it's about RM500~550how much is it? im under dilemma right now, wanna choose between saitek, logi or maikesoap...geee the keyboard is great with all the keys pressed and all are detected. not like old keyboard which i use that only support up to 3~6 keys. This keyboard also uses Cherry Black MX Key, that are not used in most gaming keyboard. they're consider mechanical keyboard. This post has been edited by Cyclonechuah: Feb 13 2010, 02:59 AM |

Razer has really crappy quality control. and price is not worth the item, unless you are a fan of Razer.

G15, hmmm i heard some good comments from my friend as well, was planning to buy that last time, but thinking about using a mechanical keyboard because i've been using them long time ago, and kinda dislike the typing feel of membrane keyboard.
so i ended up buying 7G. for anyone here, remember to try mechanical keyboard at friend's house to test out the feel, because it might be not suitable for you. |

QUOTE(viqq @ Mar 2 2010, 11:17 PM) Quick information: felt like a Filco Keyboard now. since some features are removed.Features not present in the keyboard, compared to the SteelSeries 7G, are the audio ports for headphone-in and microphone-out, the two USB ports as well as the removable plastic handrest. |

QUOTE(Fantasia @ May 28 2010, 03:19 AM) ok, just googled. should be 125Hz since it's standard rate... and i also found how to increase it. click here this is only useful for hardcore player that plays FPS games. but it's not really consider important. |
