QUOTE(firedauz @ Jun 23 2009, 01:24 PM) Apalah Ongkili nie tanya soalan bodoh. Terlalu bodoh punya soalan. Budak 5 tahun yang pandai pakai internet pun takkan tanya soalan terlampau bodoh macam nie. Damn right. He might as well ask "Is Megan Fox hawt?". The topic should be "Our internet connection is crap. What can Maximus do about it?". If he can't answer that, then he's not even worth the bandwidth.

All our multimedia ministers are always so gungho with using the word 'penetration'.
What's the point of penetration when our bandwidth is so lembik.

Bleh. My question:
I feel that the 'best effort' clauses being used by ISPs are currently being unfairly abused by the ISPs themselves. Can anything be done about it?
Tarak keluar... dammit.

Fikri's a cyba troopa?
And Lim Keng Yaik said something about reducing the costs for broadband subscriptions a few years ago. Nothing came of it. Cakap kosong.

Corrected. QUOTE Dr Max: Thank Firedauz. My desire is to ensure all Malaysians could enjoy the same Internet speed as what developed countries like Japan enjoy. It is possible if I decide to get off my lazy bum, something will get done. As I said, we should not wait 10 years to for me to enjoy $$$ rolling into my account. My own expectation is that there will be a major achievement within the next three years provided I get to pocket some of the development costs.

All I see are proposals, ideas, recommendations etc. Nothing solid or work in progress. What has he been up to since taking up this ministry?

Nobody's staying on topic. What lah. I guess when it comes to internet speed, there's nothing to talk about.
