BTW, If u are in Puchong dun forget the Stars made famous Luk-luk or KL satay chelup street opposite IOI Mall...However beware of the price differences between Malacca one & KL...KL per stick can be ~RM1.50 ho..

I think better than yesteryear lah when those customers celup halfway 7 feel unccoked & put it back..yuckss....Nowadays customers more civilised & less putting back those 1/2 eaten uncooked sticks into the kuah. hmm.gif

opsss..hv I pecah lubang?

Well, KL ppl or those migrated from m'cca tried implementing satay celup b4 but all failed....I remembered there was one at Taipan USJ way back in 1996-97..failed. Then another one using the famous Satay Celup Capitol opened at Taipan 2 ..also in USJ..That one also failed after 1 year...

The mcquek...mentioned above actually a real alternative & not bad..There is another not far from Capitol facing the Old Market....that one also OK....Both arer cheaper than OKW & Capitol & less crowd

The dirty part is bcos some ppl/customers like to put back 1/2 cooked satay to the gravy...otherwise no problem-lah

20-30 years ago even worst....the put back the left-over from the small plate back to the centre gravy..I dun think they do this anymore...That's one thing KL ppl dun wan to accept M'cca satay celup...They prefer Penang style Luk-luk..i.e soak in boiling water & thereafter to the gravy....u can assure that the boiling water always clean...
