For those that booked with Takacom at the Curve, you can try your luck and go to their outlets. I just collected mine from their midvalley outlet, 16GB Black. I just went there without any call, and were shocked that the stock were actually there already. So give it a try

I'll keep you guys updated on the 32gbs from Machines 1Utama as I've ask a friend of mine who works there to text me once the stocks are there.
Currently only WHITE 16gb i3Gs are avaliable there. Just arrived at their store at 1pm earlier.

I'll also chime in that I've got the SMS + e-mail as well to collect tomorrow (collection at Maxis Sunway Pyramid) and it's the black 32gb unit. So it looks like it's true that Maxis centres themselves aren't affected by the 32gb shortage.

Hay guise. I received a sms to collect my pre-ordered iPhone 3GS today. However, my walk-in collection day is supposed to be next Wednesday. I also received an email to collect it today.
Should I go collect it today at KLCC or wait Wednesday?

I called 1800, a CS woman told me the e-mail is wrong, and suggested to collect it per walk-in collection day.

Now at Machines Lot 10 picking up my 32GB 3GS White. I was told this morning, I wasn't going to get one today but at 5pm, the store called and they had a unit for me. So here I am at Lot 10. Just jailbroke it & restored my data and waiting for the Maxis contract to be ready. 30 mins already. Seems to be a prob with the Maxis registration system.
Apparently I'm only 1 of 10 persons picking up an iPhone here. I think this is due to the fact that Machines Lot 10 was never an option in the Maxis Online Booking form. I booked my unit on the 23rd directly with Machines Lot 10 with RM200 deposit. Didn't use the online booking. I was starting to regret it when I was told yesterday & this morning that chances of getting one today were slim but am quite happy now. Thanks to Vincent of Machines Lot 10.
