its a CICADA

look at the wings, if it has branch vein stucture like a leave, its a Cicada
if it doesn't and appear completely flat, its a Butterfly


still there are too many people mistaken when trying to identify between a moth and a butterfly

but he can ask there ma. there's loads of ppl there having insects as pet and this is pretty so i guess someone there might know.

i would think some beetle or grasshopper subspecies. but it does look a lot like a moth/butterfly

is the wings soft or hard?

saw one sticking to my car viper a few weeks ago.. i was like driving @ 110km/h and wiping the viper and the moth still sticked there! OMG ohmy.gif in the end need to use a stick to remove it..
