I was just playing drum yesterday.
I was playing "Gotta be Somebody" by Nikelback.

Here's the song.

Before the corus hits.
There's a snare hit thingy.

But listen carefully, it rolls before it hits multiple times.
I fail to do that. I tried as hard as I can.

Anyone can guide me to make it perfect?

Maybe!

I have no problems with the solo so far. But the roll makes me go boom!

i dont know if this work for drum.
but when i transcribe guitar line, when there is a hard part to be played, i usually slow it down by half the speed. and i'll play it at that half speed.
it would be easier to be played and i'll construct my confidence of the line from there.

after i was sure of the line, i'll try play it with even faster and until match the song tempo.

playing with the eq could also help.

i hope it helps you too.
goodluck.

Okay. But I don't really know about this "tinscribing" thingy.
Mind to explain more? I'm in a lost here...

transcribe means to write it down note by note ler.

i think the best way would be to slow the song down until you can actually hear the individual beats or at least group of beats so u can study the roll more precisely.
