My Colleagues Her New Honda Jazz alarm no sounds....even use remote control to lock or unlock car also no have sounds...
Dunno what she click before....Anyway to open back the sounds? Thanks

yes..no sound is better..i dont like alarm to lock and unlock the car..
its annoying..

maybe latest car come with no sound..

but even her car door no close...and lock by remote control...no alarm come out at all....if like tat...people stole her car...korek her car...no alarm =.=''

if the alarm same as my avanza, if the door is not fully closed and u lock the car, it will horn after sometime

Most new Honda models have no sound for locking & unlocking

if like dat it must be sumthin problem wif the siren la..
go to service center and ask them to change new 1..

Ask her to send it to Honda la bro. U accompany her or better, offer to take it... that way can spend quality time...

I thought most Honda alarm came in silent mode? like the FD?

The newer version of Honda alarms came in silent mode when you arm & disarm the vehicle but it should trigger the alarm when the door/bonnet are left opened. Better bring it back to SC for servicing.

it means that her car doesnt equipped with alarm system, its just central locking.
install 3rd party alarm system then =.="

the new honda city didn't give any respond when u press LOCK key if u didn't fully close all the door / bonnet ..... =D not sure for jazz...


mean u have to close all the door and bonnet only u able to lock the car....

For Civic FD2, the Alarm central lock "beeper" and "Autolock" are OPTIONAL. Can be fitted at Honda SC. The Beeper costs RM2xx and the Autolock costs another RM290 if I'm not mistaken... Fitted mine at @ Sumber Auto Edaran PJ...

I fixed my FD2 with the "Beeper" ONLY...

so expensive one ah =.=" my brother FD1 didn't do it....we can live without beep hehe....because sometime if late back....then press the alarm will trigger my family...not good ma....

That make sense but TS had confused me, because he didn't mention after or before.
Which means no sound all the while or after it became defective...

my new Civic 2.0, the new model (2009 ver.) lock also have no sound... its like that already... but if u want to buy a new alarm for ur car, better wait till the warranty period ends...
i admit it is hard to notice when ur door does not shut properly... but its better with no sounds... hehe... no more sounds pollutions...

just wanna ask, does new jazz have autolock? in the manual said it can be set but not sure whether this apply to malaysian jazz too as the manual is for other countries as well.

last time i install sound system and the fella cause my airbag indicator appear all the time, i need to take back to svc and paid for rm86

all new jazz when u lock and unlock definately no sound geh...

only alrm will have sound when u not close yr door properly around 1-3 min (not sure)

my experience in my new jazz ( or actually rather FIT - JDM version )


mine indeed has alarm.

1)
Door not closed properly & u lock with remote. The car locks on the car will Lock & Unlock immediately leaving the cabin light ON. This allow u know that the door is not properly closed.

2)
If the rear boot door is not closed properly, same as above. Some new GE6 / new jazz model come with Boot light. If not u can still install it. They boot light will light up when u open the boot door. If not closed properly it still light up. It'll be an indication it is not fully closed.

3) To test the alarm, do this.
Sit in your car, and lock yourself inside with the remote. Then unlock manually any door inside car & open door from inside. Alarm will go off !! And it is really loud.
