Although this thread discusses the theory of the human evolution of the modern mind, my aim is not to present an extensive account of human evolution, but rather to provide thought-provoking perspective of evolution of cognitive mechanisms that explain the evolution of human cultural behavior, including art, culture, religion, science and technology. Thus, it is necessary to understand how human's cognitive abilities differ profoundly from those found in non-human primates.
Historically, mind reading has been seen as so important that it has often been associated with the gods. One of the most fundamental powers of any god is the ability to read our minds and hence answer our deepest prayers. A critical explanation of the evolution of human mind to psychic's behavior must build on insights from various areas about human and articulate the links between those unconnected sets of findings and ideas.
