hi all,
have any one of you encounter problem with alternator pulley.

my car making sound when moving from idle, the sound came from drive/aux belt. (the one that pull compresor, alternator, pwr steering, water pump)
i went to PESC for check and the mechanic said it it alternator pulley. need to change the pulley around rm200.

last time, my drive belt making sound and i had to change tensioner whole set at RM300++

the mechanic says it is common problem, haih... very costly to maintain Gen2 at mileage above 80K km.
+ installment belum habis

Try use Turtlewax Scratch & Swirl Remover. Can remove some small scratches, at least not visible from far.

hv anyone bought gen2 bosch brake pad, i found the thing different from the proton bosch brake pad.

the one i bought outside proton of course cheaper, it has less dust which make me wonder is this original or imitation? not sure if it has same performance..

front brake pad proton bosch at PESC will cost you rm180, outside bosch brake pad around rm70
