Ppl, gen2 cps got any showroom giving good offer ke?

i got a bottle from a fren working in t*yota ss. t*yota fully syn 5w40 engine oil, same like syntium 3000 i'm used to use for my car lah. but this t*yota engine oil very diff mah..engine berat, need the pedal more, fc creeping up slowly. bosan! bosan! even cheap castrol magnatec gives better engine response n long life.

who got extra x1r??

dunna la. the grade 5w40 same with syntium 3000. plus exceed that sm thinggy. just dunno why on earth the oil does not performe as expected.
this weekend need to flush back the engine..revert to syntium 1000 enuff..

aiyo why waste money flush the oil n buy new oil...just pakai je la next time service dont go for it again la...

furthermore revert to synth1000 oni does it really make a different?

fc increase could cause by various reasons la not just because of engine oil...

n sumtime different oil reacts differently eventho the viscosity(eh correct ah?i hentam saja la hahah) is the same...give it some time la...

n when u service what else did u change? check oil filter...air filter...

anyway ur car so i dunno la up to u i just give advice...just dont regret la later u flush sill same problem...

do i need to bump this thread?


oh btw, if engine oil contaminated my spark plug, whats the prob?

bab minyak itam aku..konpom t*yota brand yg aku baru pakai nih a sesuai, maybe just meant for y*yota laa..gatal betol aku..

bab spark plug basah, aku penah experienced dgn iswara aku dulu. engine internal leak, biasenye jadi kat engine lama i.e. 150k km ++ la..memandangkan aku malas nak overhaul iswara aku tuh, aku tukar plug cable besar 10.5mm..kasi bakar hangus sumer oil stain kat spark plug..HAHAHA. plug stain problem settle, fc improve, pickup best (iswara kan ringan!!)

sblm nh mmg aku pakai synt1000, dh running 12k minyak itam legam pun fc 6.8l/100km..aku dh mention dlm post tukau extractor tuh..

no comment..for alternate, aku rekemen castrol magnatec..best semi-syn oil even for old bmw (e36, e46) yg terkenal dgn super hi-temp engine

yuszairi - isu ko tu lebih kepada petrol bkan engine oil...petrol caused the plug to be wet etc means engine running in rich condition...suppose engine carburator ko bole ekjas kt carburator je klo x silap aku la....

if it happens to a injection based engine, that's when the fpr comes in handy...engine runs too rich bole menyebabkan performance mendatar engine sebu...set fpr higher pressure so minyak jadi nipis n xde fuel waste n also engine performance improve...symptom fuel too rich ni biasanya plug basah etc

engine runs too lean pulak during revving suddenly engine membobok or batuk caused by minyak x cukup...lower the pressure a bit n check...symptom utk too lean plak plug to ada kesan terbakar klo kronik dia jadik itam macam hangus...

paling elok kalau kita bukak plug tgk hujung tu pembakaran ala2 coklat perang camtu la...

stock fpr setting 3.5bar sahaja...mana bole ekjas

tu la pakai aftermarket fpr...atau org panggil adjustable fuel pressure regulator so bole ekjas the pressure

edjas gune kepala paip biase pun bleh
bleh didapati di mana2 kedai hardware berhampiran
disarankan guna kepala paip yg kaler kuning2 tu.kuat sikit,tahan lama.
