i think changing to lightened rims might help. as for bigger rims, well, other than increased FC (for sure), nt so sure on the handling. probably better grip on the road due to the increased surface area, i guess?

too bad sg don allow exhaust mods. anyway improving air intake does improve low-end torque. for the throttle response.. might have to visit dr shazmn when i going up north.. but dunno when that will be =]

fc now for me is 7.4l/100km, about 400km on a full tank. not too bad la.. when i started out, i was shocked to get 290km on a full tank yawn.gif

1.3, for me i think a comfortable cruising speed is around 130km, provided im not in a hurry la.. tongue.gif

i tried 160 but the wind noise was deafening, i think i might jus go for sound proofing later on but for now, 130-140 gotta suffice =]

anyone knoe how to install grounding cables? mine is a 5 pt grounding cable..

stock engine? mine's stock with pipercross drop-in and an aircharger, now FC on vpower is 8.1L/100km. 1.3mt blush.gif

used to be ~7.4L/100km on fuelsave 95. i think i will go back to fuelsave after this tank of vpower nod.gif

jus to check, do u guys reset ECU when changing petrol octane? ie. 95 > vpower

damage done to ur wallet = ? bro?

QUOTE(yuszairi @ Dec 5 2009, 10:35 PM)
i know where bachang baru is..i oso melaka fella. got plenty relative over there, just cudnt shoot there any near future..always werk werk werk..

nvm, just replaced my extractor this morning at shop nearby my place..an old-timer shop.  didnt put high expectation coz he didnt believe in any 'branded' thingy: r3, wegow,whatever...
got 4-2-1, 2pcs set..just in-case wanna change setup to 4-1, easy a bit..
brand? homegrown..RAMSPEED. sound cap ayam to me...but nvm.

so, drove back home..notice la improvement since the catcon oredi gone. at 2.7k rpm pickup oredi there for you (prev at 3.7k rpm).  only 1 sound bothering me, the empty can sound from the stock midbox..i suppose due high gas flow into the stock midbox..and that would be my next to-do list...

top end not yet test..wanna wait awhile...
fc to monitor further...

cheers.gif

dont buy from sc. they dont keep stock of such spare. they gonna order from proton part centre first,  then u pay their runner and their margin..it gonna be 4x the the actual price exclude instln.
if u dont mind, buy from proton part centre in glenmarie first, then take to sc to install.

based on my experience u still wanna go for full r3?
no la bro, ur mistaken. rembr i from SG? i heard from my fren cousin say R3 under approved manufacturer, might be possible to get it legalised in SG. cap ayam headers don have the certification which R3 has, which i need to submit for approval so that when stop by TP i can show them the approval cert. sad.gif

if i have a choice, WEGOW + 3" + s-flow for sure nod.gif
