I did not see the replacement process, so do not know new or old version. However, the autocruise stalk looks exactly the same as previous - just newer.

btw..did ur auto cruise still functioning bfore u go for replacement cloackspring?

Huhu..mine just came out from insurance claim..bonnet,radiator and bumper replaced so i got exited to do a major service n damaged my wallet.

is it because of knn filter bro? ..

Btw,my engine started to make 'tet tet tet" noise.The more i accelerate the more noise it produces but after awhile the noise will go away.Brot to mech and he said sumtin "shim" problem.
Been using semi synt 10/40 and now he advised to try mineral oil and see if the noise still there.

In my case, I did not bring Reg Card, just service book. The SC already have database of all vehicles involved by way of REg no. or Chassis no. If either no. exist in their system, they will proceed. But most smalller SC have limited clock spring replacement. Biggr ones like Glenmarie (where I went) and COE have stocks but anyhow, call first to book appt and check availability.

shim is inside the head right? already worn out la tu..
btw, im using mineral oil 15w50.. acceleration feel a bit heavy la.. but if u wanna try, get penzoil brand bcos its API SM while most others is API SJ..

Yeap bro,the mech said if mineral oil doesn't help,need to buka the head and replace the shim.
I tried mineral before but i don't like it.Very sluggish and engine quite noisy.
Btw,do u have any idea how much it cost to replace the shim?

yup, FC decrease.

same with me. didnt bother to use semi syn or full syn anymore. now stick with mineral oni

just change my front brake pads coz the old one worn out but the sound still appears when i press the brake...anybody know how to tackle this kind of problems????

mine too!!but after sometime, only when reverse got sound...

your problem quite funny la..only reverse got sound,brake pad pasang terbalik kot???eheheheheee...

haha..i think because when 1st pasang, the brake pads and the disc brakes doesn't have the complementary patterns,i.e, still uneven, which causes friction, thus sound...after sometime, when it is already same pattern, the sound gone...but when reverse, the pattern terbalik, thus the friction and sound again...

tat's my hypothesis..hahah
