Below 3k rpm, no effect, the ECU kept correcting the AFR just seconds after it is 'adjusted'. After 3k rpm, it works fine (and still does after 2 month) since the constant vibrating at 3k++ rpm that comes out after I change to 4-2-1 header gone till this day. Not much/almost no power gain felt but the engine is definitely smoother.

not because of may crack la i dunno how to say somehow i think if u use racing clutch the grip is too tight for a skimmed flywheel to handle...my clutch now especially if i rev hi once i shift gear got sound like clutch slip which is impossible to happen because the clutch age is less than 4 months...must be the flywheel...

dont use dummy catcon...instead get a 4-1...dummy catcon might look like this maybe:

dummy cat, physically the cat is attached but inside is actually a straight-through pipe. this might be a good decoy for bonnet-popping TPs.. wink.gif

as for the regular inspection..i found a way around it. might be changing my extractor soon if i can find a way with this dummy cat wink.gif
*
bro...just go with 4-1...seriously dude...later i post the pics of the header instead of using those dummy cat etc

my car is auto bro.. it'll shift up around 2.5k rpm.. if press the throttle harder, the highest shift up point i can ever get is no more than 4k rpm.. if i need to full throttle everytime, my fc sure become sucks 1.. and if i need to play each gear everytime (L, 2, 3 & D), that will defeat the purpose of having an auto right?

or is there any way to adjust TCU shift up point?

want earlier respond go for r3 header...the low end really good seriously and u could shift at 3k rpm no problem...

want better option go for hi compression piston...2k oso can shift still enuff power lor brows.gif brows.gif brows.gif

there's another reason what for using auto...could benefit during traffic jams or if the driver is physically challenged and cant drive a manual car...driving an auto doesnt mean u are lazy to use the gearing well tongue.gif

anyway with regards to SAFC etc...like sphiroth said no significant improvement just engine smoother...so why waste money again n again n again...strengthen ur engine capability first until one point ur ecu cant cope with it oni u opt for a better piggyback or management la bro...just a friendly advice la...its more worth it

driving a MT, for city driving i can get ~500km for full tank but i shift at 2.5k. for highway and occasional straights, i can go up to 5k for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

but when driving up north, its a different story.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

then how u wanna pasang ur extractor la...once pasang konfirm have to remove the catcon n there's almost no way to put a dummy whatsoever la dey...

that's why i suggest u to put that blardy 4-1 because it is simply plug n play...if u wanna go for inspection can do urself pull out the extractor n pasang the cat con...owh dont forget u need tools to do that...just simple tool to remove the bolts n nuts oni...

if ure fed up with ur G requirements and wanna go all out i recommend my setup la hahahaha...wegow 4-2-1, long bullet, everco s-flow, small piping...not bising oso not too silent

my advise is totally based on customer orientation la dey...

if u stay in malaysia of cos i say go for wegow or other properly tuned 4-2-1...but because ure in Sg n gor many restriction n dowan later u suffer during the annual check thats why i said go for that 4-1 because it can easily be assembled n disassembled n how swappable with the catcon...

unless if u want to go rebel then come do full exhaust setup la...but u also claim u dowan pay unnecessary money to ur gov...so the first option still the best for u right?

for muffler just get everco s-flow...shud be enuff

Yeah, almost no improvement but now I can cruise at 110-130km/h comfortably since the annoying rattling is gone. nod.gif

IMO, the most value for money upgrade I've done so far is the 4-2-1 header and Adj Fuel Regulator:thumbs:
