Hey guys, just wanna announce that I'm able to provide cat boarding services at my home in PJ sec 14.
I'll only be able to accommodate a max of 5 cats per day. I do provide cages, although I'd prefer to let them roam free. This means that all cats must be vaccinated and spayed/neutered. Any signs of skin problems or infectious disease and the cat will not be allowed boarding. Charges are RM10 per day per cat all inclusive except the food. Owner's are encouraged to provide their own food to avoid any discomfort in the change of diet. For any queries do contact me at 019-2172162. |

QUOTE(CutiePie69 @ Jan 7 2011, 11:56 AM) Hi Siti Hani, Thanks for advice. I do have certain criteria before I accept any boarding, such as vaccination proof etc. No worries, I most certainly will be very careful not to mix the cats. They will be allowed to roam in batches as you have advised. I have been doing this for 6 months so far amongst friends and have now decided to take it up a notch.Wonderful thing that you are doing! However I must stress to you that it is most unadvisable to let your boarders free roam and mix with other cats. The reason is for health purposes. Eventhough the cat has been vacinated against diseases it is still not considered safe as some cats can be carriers of FIP or FIV thus when you let them free roam other cats can catch the disease as well. It is advisable to cage them. My advise is that you may let them out on rotation basis but please do not mix them together. Also please ask the owners to spray their cats with Frontline before boarding. I used to do boarding as well and this is a MUST for me to ensure that there are no TICKS or FLEAS. Just my two cents ya Appreciate the support. Thanks again. Added on January 7, 2011, 12:54 pmHere is a more complete explanation of my service. (hehe, just in case some got confused along the way) Our charges are RM 10 per cat per day which includes litter, brushing and lots of cuddles. All our guests receive individual attention and ample playtime out of their cages. All cages and litter trays are cleaned daily. Owners are expected to bring along their own cat food to avoid any disruptions in your pets’ diet. You are also welcome to bring along your pet’s favourite toy to help make them feel more at home. We have 2 types of cages available:- 1) 3 tier cage – suitable for 2-3 cats 2) 1 tier cage – suitable for a single cat Only cats from the same home will be allowed to share a cage. For the safety and well being of all furry friends boarding with us, certain regulations must be adhered to:- • All cats must have up to date vaccination. (the certificate must be shown upon check-in). • All cats will be checked on arrival and cannot be admitted if showing signs of infectious disease, skin problems or in a poor state of health. • Please use Frontline or similar before check-in if your cat goes outdoors at home. Any cat observed to have any parasite infestation during their stay (worms, fleas etc) will be treated at the owner’s cost. • Adult cats over the age of 7 months can only be accepted for boarding if they have been spay/neutered.
