Hi ya people, this is my first post on this thread, imma newbie here, so i'm not sure is this post is suitable here. If not, sorry ya... smile.gif

I brought back a kitten(name her kitty) from a mamak stall, he is giving it away, 4 kittens as siblings(stray cats; without mother, found outside their shop) are too much for him, so he gave me 1. She was about 2-3 months i guess when i brought her back. At first, she was such a good girl, very tame, able to touch her head and cuddle her. But now, she likes to bite. Whenever we try to touch her, she try to bite us, we don't have a chance to cuddle her anymore. I understand from the petstore that she was teething, and when she bite, we need to make a loud 'NO', but this doesn't work for my kitty. I love to cuddle her, and i wish to hug her again. Anyone can help with this biting problem? TQVM!!! smile.gif

Dear all, I'm not sure is this topic has been discuss or not. I realise female cats roll on the ground right after mating. Why is that so? It surprised me. I'd like to have my kitty spayed, will that hurt? My girl is not even 1 year yet. Any kind opinion will be appreciated. Thank you very much biggrin.gif

female cats can be spayed at 6 months of age
it's better if you spay, cz
1. no surprise litter of kittens. you might like it the first or second time, but after that you'd find it difficult to get them adopted
2. male cats won't visit your house
3. less health problems. I worked at a vet clinic before and there were 2 female cats that developed breast cancer. It wouldn't have happened if they were spayed before that. Going on heat can also be stressful to some cats so spaying will stop that.

Spaying won't hurt the cat. She'll be asleep the whole time, and cats recover really fast from the surgery.
where is your location? some members can suggest a good vet nearby

----

btw, does anyone need a can of Science Diet a/d? only a small amount was used.
I took in a sick kitten but it died, and my own cats are perfectly healthy so I don't need it.

Thanks dear. We live in Taman Puncak Jalil. I suppose there are vets nearby. Should drop in and have a consultation. Thank you for your kind information. I should get her spayed, i think she is meow-ing non stop nowadays. rclxub.gif

Dear all, I've a question to ask.

I adopted Kitty i think 5 months ago, during that time, she was a little kitten, we kept her in the house, in the cage, we let her out during the day because there's someone downstairs looking after, and let her in the cage at night before we go to bed. This practice last until now, she is quite grownup, we only keep her in the cage at night, when everyone gone to sleep, because of children allergy, we don't keep her in house anymore, we keep her outside, let her out the first thing in the morning, and let her in the cage before we sleep.

The thing is, just now, my neighbor's husky ran into my garden and bark at the poor kitty in the cage, she has nowhere to run. i'm planning to let her out throughout the night so when the husky comes back again, she is able to run.

My question is, if i let her out tonight, will she come back? I'm afraid i can't see her anymore in the morning.

Please help! Thank you!

for me, i will go to my neighbor
and ask him keep his husky away from my cat!

why the husky can come in your garden  blink.gif

poor kitty...
i think she won't go far when 1st time
like last time i bring my one went to titiwangsa for walking, he scared and din move at all >.<

but let her out is risking lar..later the husky bite her?

We let her out and she move around the nearby neighborhood during the day. But when she sees my car coming back from work in the evening, around 5, she came running home. But at night, i haven't try to let her out to the neighborhood on her own yet. So, it's not the first time she moves around the neighborhood already. So if i let her out whole day, i'm afraid she will go further down the lane.

Damn the husky, my neighbor don't really take care of their dog, but they have 3 dogs (1 rottweiler, 1 husky, and 1 shnauzer), barking non stop. It's already past 12am last night when we saw the husky came over and bark at my girl. By the way our fence is the wire type, it can either jump over or crawl over.

Thanks for your kind opinion smile.gif notworthy.gif
