QUOTE(jotaro12 @ Nov 16 2009, 10:06 PM) From what you've told us is that your cat is not used to cages. I have my own solution when I wanna put Felix into his carrier. 1st is to introduce your kitty to her cage/carrier by putting her in w/o locking the gate. keep doing it for a few times. Then try to lock her for 3-5mins then let her out with treats waiting for her each time. Repeat few times. If possible, put some of her belongings in the cage/carrier so she can feel safe while staying in the cage. This will surely make your kitty comfortable with her cage/carrier in no time. I will try this or maybe i buy bigger cage for her? Actually,is there any guidelines to buy cage? Anyways, my cat doesnt eat treats. I dont know why. Try cover the cage when traveling if this would help to reduce her 'meow'. If your kitty is an adult cat, you might need more time to train her to get used to new stuff, catnip spray does solve some problems too if you wanna try. Hope this helps |

QUOTE(elfreakz @ Nov 17 2009, 05:02 PM) Agreed w/ bro El. Don't think the owners would dump persians for no reason. Maybe it'll occur once a while, but most "persians" in SPCA and PAWS are just DMLH or DLH cats. Please don't expect true persians except from ethical breeders in M'sia. |

QUOTE(xmascat @ Nov 18 2009, 09:10 PM) 1st of all, do you have a budget? If it's under MYR 1k then there's none even the seller claim it is. Petshop mostly sells pets which come from backyard breeders, so pet's health might be an issue and they raise the price just to sell a Persian like DLH cats. Online sellers is a big NO too. Try some of the cattery like Proventus, Catilisa and Justkatzz. Try visit the MCC cat show in the end of Nov to get more info. Google is always your best friend. Last but not least, ask yourself are you serious in getting a Persian cat? |

QUOTE(beez @ Nov 19 2009, 06:39 PM) They are so cute! How old are them? I have 2 kittens with me too. Do they still drinking milk from their mother? They were born on 31st October 2009.As of now, they are 19 days old. Yerp, they're still drinking milk. Anyway, a question to elfreakz, when is the right time to neuter Mama after the 31st October birth? She's given birth twice, don't want her to get pregnant anymore. I want her to be fat & healthy. |
