thanks elf...will send him to the vet asap..
another thing is my cat is an indoorcat but i duno y recently the fur behind both of his ear seem to become botak..i apply some fungal cream on him but still botak...can help??
*
he/she has any fungal or ringworm history before? if yes, then it can start back from it. botak2 or bolt patches looks like ringworm..

else if other parasites, try frontline spray or spot on. clean your house, vacuum all carpets.

if got ringworm history, im pretty sure u need to continue giving the pills from vet. they have this pill for ringworm.

then bath with fungal shampoo...like malaseb shampoo..

if ringworm, frontline wont help... frontline only for parasites like fleas, lice and ticks... also mites.

Don't get confuse between veterinarian and zoology.... zoology is the course that study about animal behavior, breed, etc.

- 110% sure no fleas. then that is ok.. have u check for earmites? dusk mites? lice? you cannot see all this with your eyes. fleas are bigger so you can see them clearly. Clean the ears.. if you see black brown spot in the ears (look like wax) that is knows as ear mites.

- she seem to be boring eh? like lock in the room and sleep infront the balcony..

- im not sure how long is the fur... have u try grooming your cat at the petshop? last time i have cat that has very thick fur, and end up shed alot too... bring her up to the petshop grooming, and the shop trim her undercoat. after that she look find, does not look thick...

- im pretty sure your cat is 2 - 3 years above? since u mention your come to your house 2 years ago. so estimated she is fully adult. horny cat will normally scream out loud. making this loud annoying sound calling for male / female cats. the only way to check if that cat has been spay is to ask your vet.. maybe they need to shave the fur on her stomach. else u go to your neighbor house and pretend to ask bout their cat. if they dont know anything about spaying, basically their cat that has been staying with you is not yet spay/neuter. some cat do not show any horny sign during mating season.. some cat do. the more they interact with horny male, the faster the female turn on. horny cat normally will have sensitive back part (near the tail), if you rub that early, they will show up their butt.. this is one sign their still have feeling of sex LOL..

- lol if you put your cat in the fridge you end up not having a pet anymore tongue.gif... its enough to have alil bit of natural air from outside, and also maybe a fan.

- 10x a week dry grooming should be ok... how bout try to get deshedding tool for your cat. it is not the normal comb/brush.. on the pack it mention de-shedding, it wont make your cat botak, it will just trim and remove dead fur...so your cat fur wont be too thick.. here is one famous tool, maybe you can try find something similar to this:
http://www.furminator.com/ = its very hard to find this one here in KL..
as for me im using Bamboo Care - cat de-shedding comb, i bought it for RM36.90 at Petsmore petshop, below is the photo of it.:
user posted image

- ok the one you see that look like stool in your cat vomit is = hair ball... this means your cat is cleaning herself. now u need to see how frequent she vomit, if everyday then you are in red alert mode. everyday hairball is not a good thing to see...
when cat cleaning themself, they lick the fur.. fur go inside them.. hairball will be produce. if they dont have hair ball.. basically they dont really groom themself. horny cat is lazy, when the mating season come, they eat less, they groom less, all they know they want sex more. typical animal behavior.

- my cats love SP tuna and chicken too.. and they have no problem with iams chicken. last month i tried the iams tuna they love it too...

- having fur shedding is normal if you have cats in the house. all cats shed fur. just need to see how bad it is. if your cat shedding like the amount of 10 cats. than there is some wrong.

- many people feed fish oil to their cat, as fish oil is rich with nutrition for the fur. i never tried any oil... since i dont have much problem with extreme de-shedding problem...

- if you have tried SP for 6 months, i bet now u can try a new one.. try super premium like orijen or innova evo.. its expensive ehehe very expensive.. 4kg is like RM70.. but worth it.. if i have money i will go for this.. i did try feeding orijen to 1 cat for 4 months, that cat look 100% different from other cat that did not eat orijen. especially fluffy shiny fur.

- SP and Iams is the reasonable price and easy to get. others will be much expensive than SP and iams, such as Royal Canin and etc. if you do not want to pay that much, u can try blackwood which was recomment by CutiePie before. You can PM her directly.

hurm,thx..and i clean her ears every time after bath, and the last time,huhuh..OMG,last month maybe..my bad..huhu..she hates her ears to be clean.notty gal.i'll go and clean it right away, but before that,u just use a cotton buds to clean them?cause iused to clean them with damp cotton buds,is that ok?
and can i use baby oil a lil bit?some one told me it can be used?urgh??

yeah, but not sure if that is a sign of boring or laziness of her..
owez slepp 20h/7!i thought cats don't sleep at nite, but as soon as i sleep so did she..aiyahh..
but when i have time i'll play with her,and here u go,she'll go so crazy..haha..

her fur is not tooo longg, since she's not persian just like normal DLH,medium long, like that?

horny cat normally will have sensitive back part (near the tail), if you rub that early, they will show up their butt.. this is one sign their still have feeling of sex LOL.

hahaha...i just wonder why the hell she owez do that when i tepuk that part (near the tail) and she'll showed up her butt..anyway i found that is kinda cute,though..haha..
but about that scream out loud, she never done that as far as i know, she'll scream out loud if she's trying to call anybody in the house, just got back from some where and muncul at my bed room window like saying;"hey,im back!where's my food?"haha..and if she found something like lizard, cockroach to play with (really make me mad!),or in the bathroom, want to take a bath..haha..
i've asked the vet about this, and he dunno laa..how stupid..

wow..that deshedding tool on the link u gave looks cool..nice thing..but since u said it's hard to find, can i buy like urs?look ok too..is it?and the price is also okay with me..is it available at Pets Wonderland (the only famous pet shop i know)???Btw,where is Petsmore?ngehehee..

okeh,so that was really hairballs, and that was the first time i've seen it for the entire years she had been with us..haha..maybe she did vomit it,but some where else (dunt want to give trouble her owner)..
haha..noooo..the fur is not even an amount of 3cats okay..normal kot?

Where can i find either orijen or innova evo.but if it's hard to find and the price is shakehead.gif for me,maybe i'll try them later if i have enuff money..haha..so i've to go to Blackwood then..what about the price?
Is it easy to fine at any pet shops ?
ohh,ok.I'll PM CutiePie later. thumbup.gif

I had a 8 months old (estimate) male cat at home. just now, we found a female stray kitten, not more than a few weeks next door (unoccupied house). we pity the kitten but don't know how to handle this because my male cat keep sniffing her tush, and keep biting the kitten at her neck. thats about 3 months old.. big already.. you can just offer cat food and water. she may be do not know what the heck is dry cat food eheheh.. she will slowly eat it smile.gif

if u worried she wont eat anything, get the wet food by whiskas small packet rm1.20 each...

while waiting for new home for that kitten, dont mix her up with your king of the house smile.gif else that kitten turn out to be the slave eheheh..

lastly, if u feel like keeping juliet in the house, neuter your romeo first ok smile.gif then u will have home sweet home...

your cat seem to be semi long hair cat... which is medium.. normally medium on body, but bushy on the tail.

i dont really like my cats playing with insect, lizzard, etc... im afraid that thing carried infection from outside. oh well u know cockroach is from a dirty place right. lizard eating flies...

petsmore u can go check out www.petsmore.com for location...

if her fur is not even the amount of 3 cats.. it should be ok... again it is normal for long fur cat to shed fur from time to time.. dead fur will fall occasionally. even short hair will drop its dead fur. new fur will grow....

petsmore selling orijen and innova evo.. but u need to call the shop first before going. they have many branches, so some branch out of stock. i saw innova evo at petsmore taman connought.

Hello guys smile.gif

I've just visited the vet few days ago to follow up my Felix's diarrhea condition. This time I was attended by another vet since Dr. S was on another branch. After follow up the checking, the vet told me my Felix was fine, just need to eat his medicine for another week then it'll recover. Then the vet did ask me to vaccinate my Felix and I fully agreed. While examining him after the shot, he found out Felix got flea eggs on his fur and I did notice too before. So I was asked to use Frontline and I did later that night. It's seems fine as he's active & naughty like usual on his 2nd day of shot(recover fast indeed biggrin.gif ), but as I woke up by him this morning and while I raise him, I saw watery poo stuck on his rear fur. This is the 1st time I see poo like this hmm.gif

1. The dosage of medicine is reduce, will that be the culprit?
2. He's not stress or having fever since he's active and eat well on 2nd day, or still is the vaccine's influence??
3. I put on Frontline and the eggs still stick on his fur. Does it take time to see the results?
4. If this continue for 3 days, will I need to take him to the vet straight away or keep monitor his condition?

I really appreciate your guys help notworthy.gif

He is still on medicine right? if yes, wait till you finish all the tablets. and see if anything improve.

yes vaccine normally took 2-3 days to end. so during this days you will see him tired and moody. some sort like vaccine taking action.

what type of frontlike u r using? spray or spot on? u need to comb your cat with fleas comb.. google image on how this comb look like. when u comb, the eggs will drop, if u give frontline doing all the job by itself, it will be alil bit slow to recover. eggs will hatch soon.. so comb it.

what you can do is call the vet after 4th day. and ask why your handsome felix still ... tell the vet what u see, such as continous diarrhea, etc.

make sure your cat drink enough water ok smile.gif monitor the water intake, let say 1 glass in a bowl, see how much it decrease.

He actually got pee more than poo haha so it's fine smile.gif, and I make sure to change his water every time I go to and come back from work. I'm using the Frontline spray as the vet gave me. I use normal comb which is for his daily use, never knew there's a flea comb blink.gif Don't know if he's moody but he likes to bite or scratch my finger when i wanna brush him these days sweat.gif . Thanks again for advice, will keep on monitor his condition. smile.gif

ok thank you.
i got one more thing to ask you.
Can a never-traveled-cat before starts to travel?
I mean, the whole family will be away for two days for a brother graduation at Tronoh,Perak.
So im not sure weather to put her at the pet shop (but they aren't at the shop at nite),ask the neighbours help (but not the former owner) or bring her along?
but is it ok for cat to travel about two-three hours??

yes u can bring cat travel in the car. u need to consider few things, first ime cat might having this vocal calling... some stress, some eager to see whats going on, some cannot stop moving... some frightening.

what u can do, to start practicing now.. maybe 10 minutes drive some where. show ur cat that thing is moving side by side with others LOL... show them, human travel on car on the road eheheh... so later he/she won't be culture shock.

and lastly, u need to consider poo and pee eheheh.. some cat cannot tahan, just pee in the car. that will be a problem...some people will not feed their cat before the journey.. but kesian also ur cat travel with empty stomach...

if i were u, i will just pay someone to jaga the cat. he will be safe at home, and u having fun at perak smile.gif

yes u can bring your cat without cage or carrier in the care.. but for your own safety, please use.. u know driving on high way with living creatures like cats.. cats are different from dogs.. dogs will listen to you, but as for cats - u need to listen to them. there is one time my cat forcing himself seating and standing on the driver place while the car is moving, and its kinda disturbing.

so for you own good and safe journey, pls consider again.

pay some one to jaga.. if that person love cats, sure will jaga your cat like jaga their own cat.

if that person do not have cat at home, i prefer my cat to be 24/7 in cage at their home LOL... just feed and throw poo.. dont touch my cats eheheh.. since they dont have experience..
