Reporting in. Today submit the new Amex Credit Card application form. Not sure MBB will receive it properly or not. Or how long they need to process it.

btw, AMEX Gold CL is separated from MBB or combined?

tht's normal retail price la which u can get from Jasco o Giant o Carrefour. the Rm39.90 is only given when they want to clear their stock on last day! so if u want cheaper, go tomolo evening.

basically TP fair is for me to get card. last year got Petronas card, this year Amex CC, next year, dun know what new card coming out..   

im still did not received any SMS from Maybank! dun know my card is approved o not.

it shud be combined, on the letter with the card on it, it mentioned Combined Credit Limit
mine limit is the same as mine MBB Petronas Gold

btw, do you need to sign and submit the upper portion of the letter back to MBB branch b4 u can use the card?

NO, CL for Islamic & Conventional card cannot be combine because internally both of them are different entity. If you want higher CL for AMEX, you need to reduce CL for your Ikhwan, but the total should be similar to what you have now.

and my amex gold limit is also same with my mbb petronas gold

do u see the same limit from maybank2u for all your cards? or only the amex gold is different from the rest?

No just Maybank, other bank that have separate entity that issue CC will have this limitation as well. Example CIMB, You cannot combine CL for their convention CC with their islamic CC or even DA CC since they are different entity.

1k is totally ridiculous, not enough to buy a camera also. By the way, ur Ikhwan have different CL issit? If your Ikhwan CL is high and your expenses is not more than that, why not combine both card together to get a better limit?

I did not suggest to cancel, I suggest to reduce limit your ikhwan card & after that increase limit for your amex card.
By the way I just make a call to SCB CS. He say that I can close the current account attach to JustOne Card. JustOne card will only function as credit card. debit card will no longer work.

Amex gold credit card limit is combined with other Maybank credit card...at least my case is.
