I wanna apply another credit card but I think I want to apply from HSBC and CitiBank,will their chance to approve me will be very low ?

Not to forget Maybank Petronas VISA which gives 5x Treatpoints and CIMB Petronas Mastercard that gives 2% rebate.

The AMEX Gold credit card 5x Membership Rewards Point is equivalent to 2.5% rebate (roughly, could be higher depends on which shopping voucher you want to redeem).

Around 2.25% - 2.75%. But bear in mind that you will only get 5x TP when you pump at Petronas station and shop at Mesra shops. All other purchases will earn you only 1x TP = RM1.

If you pump at Shell, i'd suggest you to get AMEX Gold credit card instead. It gives you 5x Membership Rewards (MR) points for every Ringgit. You'll also get 5x MR points when you shop at most major supermarkets (Carrefour, Tesco, Giant etc.) and bookstores (Kinokuniya, MPH, Times, Borders). As for all other purchases you will get 2x MR for every RM1. It is by far the best credit card from Maybank
