If delivery by mail, should be within 1 week.  smile.gif

winner is not going to be very happy  sweat.gif  Refer post #2011 here
*
Since I submitted my application more than 3 weeks ago, I have yet to receive ANY response from the laggard MBB. As mentioned before, my tolerance limit is 1 month.

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Aug 25 2009, 10:11 AM)
Do terminals overseas have this problem?  I'm going travelling soon and SCB JO is one of the major cards I'll be using.
*
I had used my SCB Just1 cc in S’pore, Indonesia and Middle East, and there wasn’t any problem at all. I didn’t even tell the cashiers to select CR.

QUOTE(santaclaus @ Aug 25 2009, 10:16 AM)
does citibank platinum card stil gif us 2x points when spend overseas???
*
Yes, 2x points for overseas transaction.

QUOTE(Gen-X @ Aug 25 2009, 12:26 PM)
winner did post about 2 weeks back a comparison for Justone and another card and Justone rate was high. Go search winner post in this thread. For overseas transaction fees, read first post of this thread and if you do have overseas transactions including for online transactions, better you get Alliance card and save some money on those stupid Admin Fees.
*
I just came back from S’pore and had used my Citi and Alliance in the same shopping mall. I will update you guys on the currency conversion rates when the transactions are updated on my e-banking.

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Aug 26 2009, 09:30 AM)
Guys, for SCB JustOne, how do you keep track of the total cash rebates you've received?  Manually by Excel?  There should be a way to keep track since the total allowed is only RM600 per year.
*
I monitored closely my account so that I could enjoy the ultimate rebate benefit. My cumulative rebate reached RM600 after I had spent RM16k. At the same time, the minimum spending requirement for auto waiver of AF has also met.

QUOTE(DarReNz @ Aug 27 2009, 12:54 PM)
just wanna update never use your scb justone to run any transaction at the atm otherwise your card will be retained
*
Were you referring to cash withdrawal from ATM machine? I’ve never experienced any problem when withdrawing cash from my current acc via Just1 card at ATM.

Do you know that youll be charged a fee upon withdrawal of cash with your CC and then you'll be charged interest daily until you settle the withdrawal amount together with the interest charges. Better you go find another altenative...... maybe to the extend of selling off your car or changing to kancil.
*
agreed.

cash advanced per withdrawal cost RM50 for RM1,000.

Huh AFAIK Cash Advanced are not count like normal way u swipe ur card charges.

Although the credit limit may still apply, but cash advanced interest are calculated on daily basis..

Which bank says got such service now?

no way bro.

it's only applicable for retail purchase, and its also depending on the participating bank and merchant.

there are too many Terms n conditions tht you need to aware of it.

Interest is calculated on a daily rest. Means the interest is still running from the point your statement is being generated to the point that you paid. Even a lapse of 1 day is also counted.

That's why all the folks here say to avoid cash advance at all cost. Too many hidden T&C and the interest calculation method favors the bank ... the consumer is the sucker. Period. Maybe the regular folks here said it too nicely so people thinks it is not a big problem to just take up a cash advance ... sigh. sweat.gif

For hypermarket beside rebate, they also cut your points too...
*
Bonus Points Earned = 1992
Bonus Points Redeemed = 216
Nett Points Received (Bonus Points Earned - Bonus Points Redeemed) is correct based on the bill amount for the current month, which is 1772 in my case.

To me that doesn't cut my points.

@arsenal, did the Bonus Points Redeemed caused the mis-understanding ?

I do get the points from hypermarket purchases (credited last month July) when it was billed to my credit card.
Still curious why they need to add points then deduct it back... confusing rclxub.gif shocking.gif

Happy Birthday Ronnie! smile.gif

I guess by default their system will give point for every spending. But for current promotion since they are giving 2-5% rebate, they'll have "deduct" those points or else they will make loss...

There's no deduction of points lah....
They increased the points earned and deduct the extra points, thus the nett is still equal to your actual spending for the month (RM1 = 1 Point)
