i signed up a couple of weeks ago, but i'd still like to know what exactly will be happening before i commit my time. i heard on the radio something like they'll be setting up a large number of <something>, couldnt clearly hear if it was consoles or PCs, then on the website there's also a poll where you can vote for what game you'd like to play or something (there were a number of fighting games, i believe). on the radio they also mentioned that the participation is limited, around 300 odd people only, and some mention of 3 teams of <some number> of people.

Few weeks ago? I dun listen to radio, so I never knew about it till somebody told me.
Oh well, hope they dun like selected so very last minute, that would be troublesome.

haha, i dont listen to the radio much either, its my sis who does and told me about it. the closer we get to the date i'm beginning to think we are indeed heading into the pitfall of late news.

When I asked about games, they say PS2 games but the titles can only be known on the day itself.

So, finally the day came...the format they used was a single elimination tourney for the 24h thingie and yup, the game was indeed Tekken (ran on PS3 - it's the PSN version). A lot of walkover though.

Got sf4, nfsps, we09, gh3 that we can play around while lepak2 before match. That's pretty much it, apart from what Basil posted on his fly.fm blog.

1st round 4pm
2nd round 11pm
3rd round... balik rumah teedo

1st round started at 1pm
2nd round started at 9pm
3rd round started (I don't remember, too sleepy)
4th round started at 4.15 AM!!

After that got 5th round. Win that and youlll be entering Robin Round which consists of 4 players each team playing 4 games against each other of the same team to find the best. Then the finale will be between two guys, one from each team.

The game Tekken itself is not 24hrs straight (deathmatch mode), but the other games are. Every half an hour they'll give away RM 100 if you can beat the DJs in one of the games. Even got lucky draw - FlyFM Freebies, Ipods, PSP and a Nokia handphone. Even heard they're gonna give a way PS3s!!

You can't join the Tekken game now, but if you got mad skills in Winning Eleven, Guitar Hero, Street Fighter and NFS-Pro Street, go and kick their asses. At the time of writing, you still have 6 hours left. Go la, what you have to lose? Maybe you'll win some cash? Oh yeah, all the games are on spanking PS3s not PS2 as advertised.

P/s:I lost in the 4th round. Ok la, considering I never played Tekken in my life! All mashing buttons only! Haha!
