Anyone here taking Bachelor of Computer Science (Comp Networking & System) ? If yes, how is the course at UM ??

I takin the similar course....goin to be final year student...What you wanted to know about the courses?

well,i suppose now is the period for registering the courses, preparing yourself for the next semester.
anyway, do any of you know how to search for the kod Kursus online? because i didn't bring the science faculty handbood with me, so i find it some difficulty in registering the courses concerned without the codes.

first you ure frm which faculty? if ure faculty have their own website then you find the course code, Faculty handbook via online in the faculty website.or else you may go the umisisweb under the undergraduate and go to course timetable. enter the first four code of ur course for WXES then enter it then you see a list of courses..

inadequate information has totally upset me as i missed the intake without conscious..

1) Visited UM website, to apply for a place in UM and i was linked to http://www.portal.mohe.gov.my/portal/page/.../MOHE_MAIN_PAGE
2) Under online services, i was linked to https://online.mohe.gov.my/upu/online1011/allstpm/mohon.php
Where i was asked to purchase UNIK KOD at BSN for Rm15.60
3) when back, i couldn't register
4) I walked in UM and i was told that UM was not taking charge of enrollment, everything is decided by Putrajaya
5) So went to PutraJaya and tell UPU about my problem. Surprisingly, i was told that i was applying under the wrong category. GCE A-Level holders are fall under diploma/equivalent instead of STPM/equivalent, and diploma/equivalent application was closed on the 4th Feb 10
6) So i argued that how come GCE A-level is equivalent to diploma? General perception is GCE A-level i= STPM, then he showed me a poster which stated that GCE A-level is indeed fall under diploma category since N years ago. He also asked me to check at website which i might overlooked due to neglegance
7) Then i argued that the fact is that https://online.mohe.gov.my/upu/online1011/allstpm/mohon.php did not link me to the categorization. If there is such special categorization, the authority should notice the public clearly.
8) So I seek for appeal, but staff said appeal is only available to those who fail in application (does not entertain late comer)
9) then i would like to complain and the staff said "even your complain reaches minstry level, the outcome is still the same, as the system is already closed"

What should i do now? i don't want to wait for the following intake which is in FEB 2011

No need to prepare anything xcept urself..haha.ASASI can be very tough.too much courses for too little tyme..luckily i manage to survive.
But gud news is ull have better chance to get to UM afterward..

I just want to ask, is UM a good choice for MA in English Literature? Or UPM is the better choice for the said program?

I really have no idea which to go for.

Which other reputable Uni. offers MA in English Literature? Any idea?

i'm a diploma holder in accounting from a private college..
is it possible for me to pursue degree in the same field at UM??
does one of the major requirements need to me to be active in curriculum?
how much is the full fees and the full tenure to complete..

Diploma holders from IPTS usually needs your Diploma to be MQA accredited and will be handled on a case by case basis.So the only ones who can really answer you is UM. Send them a copy of your transcript and all to see if you have a chance.

the case for a diploma holder is dealt with case by case basiss.

I have 2 friends , a holder of diploma in microbiology from UITM, A level holder from KTT, so after all it depend on how strong ur academics transcripts and ur strong reasons of being enrolled in UM for ur courses as well.
