i went to check the stores and shops in ipoh(ie: sns network, pc depot, redcom, yik foong, ipoh parade)...but there is no hdmi monitor for sale here... (wow, it is freaking slow in tech in this town)

is there anyone knew any shop/store in ipoh or near ipoh which sell hdmi monitor? or any dell product outlet here? because now i'm interested in dell st2310 or dell st2410, samsung 2494hs also acceptable...thx

wats the difference between X and H series? i looked at X203 before, did not like it, blurry and dull

  lucky me that my model is out of stock...and a new update, i did went to another redcom branch near pc depot...they have 2494hs...hurray ...but...the price put me off...d*mn, 869!!! i d*mn pissed off by that, lowyat viewnet only priced that model only at 789...and this redcom priced it at 869!!! what transport did they use to transport this?! jumbo jet?! ferrari?! 

well now have to order dell st2410 online and pay by bank draft since no CC...d*mn...and also the holiday will only end this tuesday then only resume normal working day if according to the delivery case by dell...my dell st2410 will only reach my home in ipoh about 12~14 days!!! man...my newly bought ps3 slim has to collect dust at a corner...

i use p2370.happy with it.

p2370 is equipped with hdcp..almost all new monitor equipped with hdcp..
hdcp is high-bandwith digital content protection..

btw,u still can connect to ps3 but for sound u have to use other alternative..if u buy lcd with hdmi like LG w2361v n the other similar to it,u can connect ur speaker to the audio port at the monitor n connect hdmi from ps3 to monitor..for me,it's easier if u buy monitor with hdmi input..

btw,if u want samsung also with hdmi,u can get p2450 for rm900++ or 2494hs for rm700++..

After weeks of contemplation, i've finally decided to get the Samsung P2450H... bought at Sri Computer for RM980 inclusive of HDMI Cable..

Still getting use to the size and width of the monitor..

Wanted to post pictures but don't know how.. can somebody teach me.. noobie here..

80,000:1 contrast wor.... now in market mostly u get is 50k:1 nia.
as mention, the alien logo very chun la... no backlight or led la... go to the web for review la
yea... and crazily have 3 hdmi port. one for pc one for ps3 and one for xbox or your astro kua.

just bought hp 2309m for my ps3...

try some display setting on the net that says...brightness 50% contrast 100%...but it makes my eyes hurt, cant stand for more than an hour...

anyone got a better setting for vivid display? thx

i bought hp because i heard that samsung lcd got reliability issue( u can read previous post and one of friend's samsung did broke down recently after 2 years of usage ) the only bad thing about hp is that the warranty period is 1 year only...

I bought my P2450 2 weeks ago, u can read the reviews i've posted in this post.. just go backwards couple of weeks (just after raya)..Magicbright is just different custom brightness setting for different purpose..  hope it helps u make a decision.. only 2 downside i can think of 1. the default setting too bright u need to tweek it with Magic Bright (if not u go blind fast =p) and 2nd its not cheap... my 2 sen advice is when u go to see a monitor on display most of the time it has not been tweeked to its optimal setting with all its drivers installed.. can see the difference with the ones i see on display and the one i own.. best it to read proper online/magazine reviews by experts.. Magic Bright is found on the manual touchscreen setting, its a bit complicated to set via manual touch screen (can't help it if your using PS3).. however once you install its driver on your pc, it will be much easier to set it...
