hello, i'm new here...i would like to buy a hdmi/hdcp compatible 23" and above 1080p lcd monitor...

but i'm staying at ipoh...

i read a lot of the post here said AOC 2434pw is quite nice...

so i wonder if anyone here can suggest me where to buy a hdmi/hdcp compatible 23" and above 1080p lcd monitor(budget RM750) here in ipoh, thx

well i just went to the dell website and take a look at the 22" to 24" and i found dell st2310 quite interesting...
if compare aoc 2434pw with dell st2310 or any dell hdmi 1080p monitor, which is better?

btw, how much is ur 2434pw? (my experience says that IT stuffs in ipoh is cut-throat price compare to KL)

thx for ur info how's the quality of aoc 2434pw in ur opinion? is it worth the money?

lol, now still at kl, need to wait till friday to reach back ipoh...sien...
and the reason not buying lowyat is...i'm taking public transport...so it is inconvenient.

btw, just went to sns website...the aoc 2434pw cant be seen...is it out of stock or it was never there on their website when u bought it that time?

AOC 2434 pw is in shortage in Ipoh perak...

so i wonder apart from that...which hdmi/hdcp compatible 1080p lcd monitor 23" above and below RM 800 is recommended for ps3?

well, i received some negative review about it...something about the power indicator LED keeps on flashing...lots of people have this problem

dell st2310 and dell st2410 has the same spec...
so why is the price so difference?

the 1 inch difference can make RM130 difference between this 2?

i went to check the stores and shops in ipoh(ie: sns network, pc depot, redcom, yik foong, ipoh parade)...but there is no hdmi monitor for sale here... (wow, it is freaking slow in tech in this town)

is there anyone knew any shop/store in ipoh or near ipoh which sell hdmi monitor? or any dell product outlet here? because now i'm interested in dell st2310 or dell st2410, samsung 2494hs also acceptable...thx

yea, i also thought of buying the dell st2410 through internet at dell.com.my...but my parents are freaking paranoid about the credit card information
i did tell them the encryption and the security verification but...no use...haiz...

so i have to go back to kl to buy other models...seems like dell doesnt have an outlet here and have to order online...
or if anyone who has a concrete proof about the safety and assurance by the credit card transfer info on the dell.com.my and can be easily understood by those last generation paranoids, pls do tell

else...i have to travel back to kl again after this school holiday...d*mn...

lucky me that my model is out of stock...and a new update, i did went to another redcom branch near pc depot...they have 2494hs...hurray ...but...the price put me off...d*mn, 869!!! i d*mn pissed off by that, lowyat viewnet only priced that model only at 789...and this redcom priced it at 869!!! what transport did they use to transport this?! jumbo jet?! ferrari?!

well now have to order dell st2410 online and pay by bank draft since no CC...d*mn...and also the holiday will only end this tuesday then only resume normal working day if according to the delivery case by dell...my dell st2410 will only reach my home in ipoh about 12~14 days!!! man...my newly bought ps3 slim has to collect dust at a corner...

maybe u can read previous post, there is one model similar to this. dell st2310 which is 1 inch smaller, while 2ms and 5ms isnt much difference, human eye cant really see the difference between 0.005s and 0.002s unless u are watching F1...

where u bought ur st2410? i'm interested in that too , btw, how's the quality?

just bought hp 2309m for my ps3...

try some display setting on the net that says...brightness 50% contrast 100%...but it makes my eyes hurt, cant stand for more than an hour...

anyone got a better setting for vivid display? thx

bought it for RM880, yea, i also knew that hp monitor is more expensive compare to others for the same spec...but that is the one that i can get in my neighborhood and the warranty period also suck...it is only 1 year...haven't heard any complaint about hp monitor yet...so i think it is a quality product

hmm...u could says it can be similar to a mirror... ...u will see image of urself on the screen if the screen is dark...my light source is not facing the screen so it shouldn't be a problem, just that, i tried in the dark, the screen works perfectly in this condition, but, i dont like to play in the dark... overall, it is still a passable monitor...if compared to a sony bravia 50" lcd...they are miles apart...
