QUOTE(cherroy @ Aug 23 2009, 12:19 PM) The marketing term nowadays on HDMI is more about marketing gimmick just like full HD. Ya. So i suggest add some little info about how those HDMI/DVI function for avoid misunderstand. As nowadays, most advertisement and marketing term make people taught HDMI quality > DVI, same like Full HD is screen is better/sharper than non-full HD one. As if LCD monitor speaker is not better than ordinary speaker, then what the use of HDMI? |

QUOTE(Faint @ Oct 12 2009, 02:29 PM) If so, that will only benefit on game. For office, internet browsing not really recommended. But you can change the font size by "Ctrl + Roll your mouse middle button" or change text size ( At Control Panel>Display there? )I guess you gonna wait at least 1 years for it |

QUOTE(kianweic @ Oct 13 2009, 09:19 PM) Another update on Samsung repair services: Wuuu... kainweic i know ur feeling It has been 2.5 weeks, again they ding dong around my Samsung T240. I am not sure whether the spare parts has arrived or not (from Singapore apparently, must be sending via walking) I am also not sure when can I get my LCD monitor back given that I did not received any replacement unit for my use for time being. QUOTE(hpares @ Oct 13 2009, 09:39 PM) Hi guys, Hi,I intend to get 1 HD LCD but I seriously cannot differentiate between the picture quality between normal lcd and hd lcd. Visited all IT hypermarket today and saw samsung p2450 ( i think ). Not really much different from mine 932bplus (19inch). Can anyone tell me how to differentiate? Intend to get 1 to watch HD anime and PS3 ( not yet get 1 ). Still thinking between p2450 and AOC 2434pw. Of coz AOC 2434pw will save my money alot . But isit in term of picture quality, did it lose to samsung p2450? And summore my friend said AOC 2434 got built in speaker, which might spoil the lcd itself. And AOC only got 1 RGB and 1 HDMI input and no DVI right? Which mean if after i buy ps3 my pc can only use the RGB port.Afraid that keep plug in and out the HDMI cable will spoil the lcd. I wonder should i save the RM 300 or not. Need advise. Thanks. There are normal LCD. But as long as the lcd meet the HD requirement, it can be "certifiable" as HD lcd. The differentiate between P2450 and 932bplus are 24" VS 19" , design, setting. About your friend talk. A big manufacturer wont let this happen. So no worry. If so, There will have people/user complain in previous/later post. And last.. about input. RM300 quite much. how about look for other brand? |

QUOTE(LokiD.d.G @ Oct 19 2009, 09:54 AM) If you are willing to fork out 1k for the monitor, why not consider the 2209WA? The e-IPS panel looks seriously amazing, provided you can stomach not having a HDMI connection and a 1680 x 1050 resolution. Since zero_hour need HDMI for ps3, so HDMI a little bit important for him. TN-panel 82% color gamut is ok for non-professional graphic designer/user. We don't see any user complain their lcd lack of color yet. If got, rare.@zero_hour; It's so cheap that a missing HDMI connection doesn't matter much. Another plus, apart from the price, would be it's higher brightness level than all other ST models. Currently running on a screen with a 250nit brightness level myself, and IMHO it's too dark even at the highest setting. QUOTE(300078 @ Oct 19 2009, 10:52 AM) .....branding problem i guess.... Alienware is always more expensive. Try it. T-T just a power bottom. RM2500 heart pain. unhappy.Just now i browse through some site that said that the On/off button can be fix through opening up the LCD.... gonna try it first, dun really want to throw away my current monitor (back then i bought it for RM2500+) If Dell accept trade in good lor QUOTE(CyberSundayz @ Oct 19 2009, 10:56 AM) Difference RM400 for 1 extra HDMI, 4 USB, Height Adjustable Stand and Audio Connectivity (will this work when we are using soundcard?) And "Alianware" for view. For tight income costumer like me.. no worth leh. But of course all depend own personal taste. |
