Those monitor with built in speaker, either the sound source from HDMI or a 3.5 port. If you don't want any sound out from monitor, you just set the volume to zero.

I see, those having HDMI port on lcd, you connect HDMI cable to gc/mobo, then adjust volume in built in speakers. For lcd without hdmi port , you connect a cable from a 3.5 port on lcd(if available) to mobo sound port and adjust volume on built in speakers. Is that right?? smile.gif

hmm...u could says it can be similar to a mirror... tongue.gif ...u will see image of urself on the screen if the screen is dark...my light source is not facing the screen so it shouldn't be a problem, just that, i tried in the dark, the screen works perfectly in this condition, but, i dont like to play in the dark... tongue.gif overall, it is still a passable monitor...if compared to a sony bravia 50" lcd...they are miles apart... laugh.gif

Yup, can adjust the volume on both side but both side volume doesn't interconnect.

How long does it take to repair a LCD monitor?

Sent mine for repairs last Saturday, still not ready yet according to the service centre.

Not happy especially since it cost a lot more than those regular LCDs.
