keep me updated coz a couple of weeks earlier i hv the EXACT same issue. DVI no signal, VGA got signal BUT kenot output the native res (4:3 only)
was using a ATI 3870, when i change to a Nvidia card, it was OK.


problem is not solved even after sending to viewsonic service center in bdr puteri klang, seems like need to bring along my CPU to check but that place is blarrdyyy far from KL

now i am using a 19" Dell while waitiing for my U2410 to arrive on 23rd

im not pro viewer. haha. but absolutely better than samsung 2494hs i test in samsung showroom at PJ digital mall. vivid color and very bright with default setting, white are blown out. reduce brightness and contrast can solve the problem.
i tried to calibrate the monitor with LCD-Test. mostly no problem, and very good black, i can differentiate all the black boxes. but i failed for White saturation. Only able to see the 1st box, other boxes blend into the background. but my old Samsung 713N also failed the white test.
No ghosting when playing games (hooked to xbox 360 using hdmi, and audio out to my altec mx5021). visual are cleaner compare to my 42" LG LCD TV (old model without headphone port, zzz). 4:3 function very useful to me coz im dotard.

For conclusion i really love the monitor, waiting almost 3 weeks to buy coz no stock availability. bought from trader in Garage Sales. a bit worried with warranty policy coz the warranty card stated LG Hong Kong. Hope no problem with the seller support if anything happen.

no picture yet, my friend borrow my dslr for a week.

Hi guys, I just bought myself a benq g2220HD from digital mall today. The problem is when I play full screen for my movie the movie seems to be distorted. This only happens when desktop resolution is 1920x1080. If lower down the desktop resolution, the movie turns out fine on full screen. Can anyone tell me what seems to be the problem? Thanks.

u buy the one with glossy screen or not?n have u compare it with other monitor other than 2494hs?like acer h233h?the only drawback is it's too bright?

i went to check the stores and shops in ipoh(ie: sns network, pc depot, redcom, yik foong, ipoh parade)...but there is no hdmi monitor for sale here... (wow, it is freaking slow in tech in this town)

is there anyone knew any shop/store in ipoh or near ipoh which sell hdmi monitor? or any dell product outlet here? because now i'm interested in dell st2310 or dell st2410, samsung 2494hs also acceptable...thx

Yup, the tech growing in this town as slow as a turtle. Most of my computer part was buy via internet. I guess you have to go to KL Plaza Lowyat / buy over online.

yea, i also thought of buying the dell st2410 through internet at dell.com.my...but my parents are freaking paranoid about the credit card information
i did tell them the encryption and the security verification but...no use...haiz...

so i have to go back to kl to buy other models...seems like dell doesnt have an outlet here and have to order online...
or if anyone who has a concrete proof about the safety and assurance by the credit card transfer info on the dell.com.my and can be easily understood by those last generation paranoids, pls do tell
