I would say &*^%$ if it is true..... vmad.gif

Here is the proposed Bursa one from the site:

Price Range----------Current Tick-----Proposed Tick
Below RM1.00------------0.005------------0.005
RM1.00 to RM2.99--------0.01-------------0.01
RM3.00 to RM4.99--------0.02-------------0.01
RM5.00 to RM9.99--------0.05-------------0.01
RM10.00 to RM24.99------0.10-------------0.02
RM25.00 to RM99.99------0.25-------------0.02
RM100.00 and above------0.50-------------0.10

It may curb manipulation and speculation though, and this could be the Bursa reason for doing this if it is true.

By Fintan Ng

KUALA LUMPUR: The local bourse is expected to fall lower in Tuesday trade following a World Bank report that said the economic outlook remained “unusually uncertain”.

OSK Research Sdn Bhd said in a report today that more correction was in the cards as the KLCI saw profit-taking shaved off 13 points yesterday.

According to HwangDBS Vickers Research Sdn Bhd, the KLCI was expected to tumble more ahead with the immediate support level now seen at 1,020.

It added that regional markets could be hit even harder today following their broadly positive performance on Monday as major stock indices on Wall Street slumped.

Taipei’s Taiex Index lost 1.72% to 6,232.10 and Seoul’s Kospi Index was 2.21% lower 1,368.75.

At Bursa Malaysia, 17 counters were down, 388 were up and 75 others were traded unchanged. There were 183.54 million shares done at a total value of RM167.58 million.

market pattern is about the same as yesterday

morning drop kaw kaw, then before lunch, rebounded slightly (good for intraday)

then afternoon stagnant a while, going no where, close in red.

then at nite, depends on DJIA movements, we follow suit. unless DJIA super green, else, otherwise the same pattern is repeating.
