Hi all.

I have recently bought the ipod touch 4G from epicentre singapore. Since this is my 1st ipod touch (upgraded from ipod nano 3G), I've donwloaded tonnes of apps especially games. At 1st, I didn't know how to properly shut down an apps, so I just click the menu button to exit from any apps. The upper back will start to heat up when you play games. So, imagine, when I've played many games without proper shutdown, meaning, there are so many games running in the background, the heat is still not an issue, I mean, the heat is there, but not a big issue at all. The heat is not a big deal at all. I didn't have any uncomfortable moment at all. Also, during this moment, I kept on connecting the ipod touch with the itunes to sync with the new downloaded apps and stuff. But still, it's not even an issue.

One thing I've noticed is that, whenever I'm not playing any games (even though the apps/games/utilities that I run in the beginning still haven't properly shut down), there heat will disappear.

When I found out on how to properly shut down the apps (double click on menu button), I saw like 32 running programs in the background! It's amazing how this ipod touch 4G can withstand that kind of work.

So, the heat is not a problem at all. Really.
Well, not yet, not at the moment. I'm not sure how long does it take for it come to Malaysia. Maybe others may be able to answer that for you.

Regards
Damien

Yes, I have the same observation. I won't say that it is overheating but the back gets noticeably warm. My case, as I don't use it for games, is that it starts to get warm after I use it to stream Radio music. Someone mentioned earlier that it could be because of its slimness. The heat has got to dissapate somewhere....

After Authorize your PC you need to "Transfer Purchases" from your Iphone/Itouch.
It will then appear in your PC Itunes program.
Connect the next device, under Apps tab in Itunes select the Apps you want, then sync.

Note: If an update App notification appears on your Iphone/Itouch and the App was bought from a different Apple Userid, you cannot update.
Unless :
On the device - you sign out and sign in the Apple Userid and password that bought that App
or
Update the App in the device that bought it > Transfer Purchase to PC Itunes > Sync to the next device.

Took me awhile to figure out how iTunes works too... rclxub.gif

oh dear, that's just tedious... talking bout authorizing PCs. I had 2 PCs authorized, then I format one of them, and when I sync with the newly formatted PC and authorize it, it says authorized with 3 out of 5 machines. So how do I go about it? and what is home sharing all about?

Hadn't touched that at all. We just used separate PCs for all ipods.

and yeah, thanks guys for helping out. I just noticed I didn't say thanks. blush.gif

Steve Job's Law is one home cannot have more than 5 members and/or 5 PCs/MAC smile.gif

But seriously I think I read somewhere if your device needs to Authorise after the limit, you can email them. Can't remember how they will do it.
