just bought touch 64g a week ago.

quick questions;

1) had the wifi on - i guess it only takes two hours for the battery to drop to 20% from 100%....does the battery drain really that fast? am using a game app...

2) any recommendation for video converters that able to convert video files to the one supported by ipod? best if it's freeware..

3) considering the battery dropping so fast, i doubt i can even complete watching a 2-hr movie...

will updating to 4.0 cancel out the jailbreak?

That means i dont need to update to os3 in order to update ios4 right?

i have backup those musics, but how about those photos?
i used a software named 'IPhone browser", and i was able to retrieve those songs/music out from the iPod touch.
But i do not know how to backup those photos.

i search and search for hours yet i can't find any freeware that can do this for me!

i need to backup the ipod touch which i borrowed from friends as i want to upgrade its firmware (and i scare i might lose all those datas)

now i have successfully backup those songs/musics. but how about those photos?
how do i retrieve them out from my ipod touch?

i have tried a software named Copytrans. It is really good one but it is not free, the demo version will cause watermarks on those photos i retrieved out.

How do i backup through itune?
My iTune is completely empty one without any songs/photos. I afraid it automatic sync with my ipod and result in deleting everything in my ipod touch.

iPt2g owners.. iOS 4.0 update will somehow mess up ur wifi connection. wait until apple rectify this. im suffering terrible wifi experince at the moment.. crap

my friend wanted to upgrade her itouch to ios4.

but. it took a long time loading into her device.
the status bar just hangs there all day even after she remove the usb cable manually.

i tried rebooting it.
and now it displays a screen requiring me to connect the device to itunes.
but... nothing is happening.

during the previous restore session, Apple blocked it. and my fren hav to use an alternative way to re-JB it........

I am planning to buy 3rd gen iPod Touch 32gb, i find out that retailer sells at rm1199 but some traders in LYN sells at only RM9XX. Of course i would choose the cheaper one, but are they reliable?

as in.. are they selling the exactly same original iPod as in retailer shops? If so, why are the prices are so much cheaper?

what generation is ur ipod? cause i heard some comments it really drains the battery and a lil faster on apps. im not sure cause i havent upgrade it myself, just scared got lotsa probs. when the screen freezing, what did u do? restart the ipod? or is it temporary?

im using ipod touch 64Gb with fw 3.1.3. yesterday, after i jailbreak it using spirit, i thought i wanna restore it to the original setting using reset in settings. then i stuck at Apple logo.

i try to search on how to restore it in Apple thread. i managed to download 3.1.3 fw from iclarified. then after i hold shift + restore, it managed to unpack the fw file. later on, it prompt to contact Apple server (i guess) then this error msg shown (refer attachment)[attachmentid=1667974]

is it because of my connection? im using BB from maxis. and also im using latest iTunes version.

added: found the culprit!! need to update your windows only

im assuming the battery is dead? damn my ipod...
