Well, it's my 1st ipod touch, I'm replacing my old ipod nano 3G. So, it's been pretty good! Thanks for asking. At 1st, I planned to get a new nano since I prefer it during running+workout, but when Jobs released this new nano, it's just did not appeal to me. Do you guys know that it's super small? I've compared my old nano with it while in epicentre@ion orchard and it is amazingly small. When I saw that the price for ipod touch is cheaper in Singapore, that's why I've made a short trip over there with some friends to get it.

Owh, yup! the top part of the back really gets heated up while playing games. But not that hot that will makes you feel comfortable. Maybe the heat will be reduced when you sleeved it with a case. Can I know, in which article/forum that you read about this heat thingy? Because I'd like to read more about it.

Can you give me a good recommendation on which case and screen protector should I go for. I know that you guys are more experienced user, leading in knowledge about this. So I seek for you generous help. I hope that you will just tell me you favourite and do not comment on other ipod users on their favourite. Also, doesn't matter if it's branded or not. I also have a 10% discounts from Epicentre.

For case, I'd like to get a case that can protect the back and the surrounding edges from bumps/drops and scratches while leaving the screen wide open for immediate access.

As for the screen protector, when I bought my nano 3G, I got myself a screen protector that covers the screen, the scroll wheel, and the back part of the ipod. But that was when I was in Korea. Can I know if there's a similar guard for the ipod touch 4G? Also, for the screen protector, I'd like to get a screen protector so that it won't affect the retina display. I mean, I want the same exact view and clarity of the display even after applying the screen protector. Most important, the screen protector must be able to stand any scratches. Can you all please recommend me some screen protector that fit these criteria.

I know not many company have releases the accessories for the ipod touch 4G yet. So, if it's not a burden, you can just tell me the brand/company that I should watch for, and I'll do the hunt myself.

Hi all.

I have recently bought the ipod touch 4G from epicentre singapore. Since this is my 1st ipod touch (upgraded from ipod nano 3G), I've donwloaded tonnes of apps especially games. At 1st, I didn't know how to properly shut down an apps, so I just click the menu button to exit from any apps. The upper back will start to heat up when you play games. So, imagine, when I've played many games without proper shutdown, meaning, there are so many games running in the background, the heat is still not an issue, I mean, the heat is there, but not a big issue at all. The heat is not a big deal at all. I didn't have any uncomfortable moment at all. Also, during this moment, I kept on connecting the ipod touch with the itunes to sync with the new downloaded apps and stuff. But still, it's not even an issue.

One thing I've noticed is that, whenever I'm not playing any games (even though the apps/games/utilities that I run in the beginning still haven't properly shut down), there heat will disappear.

When I found out on how to properly shut down the apps (double click on menu button), I saw like 32 running programs in the background! It's amazing how this ipod touch 4G can withstand that kind of work.

So, the heat is not a problem at all. Really.


Well, not yet, not at the moment. I'm not sure how long does it take for it come to Malaysia. Maybe others may be able to answer that for you.

I was so busy playing with the ipod. Didn't have time to read the online manual/guide on it, hehe. But at least, I read the information guide and the finger tips booklet given in the package.

I feel bad for torturing the ipod.

Well, if any of you guys still hesitated on getting the ipod touch 4g, I may be able to answer your questions if you have any. For instance, about facetime, camera, etc. But please don't make me test the ipod to the extreme.

Also, my ipod 4G has been running naked since day 1. Can anyone please guide me on where can I find the case and screen protector for it?

Also, if you guys don't mind, can you guys please recommend me on which good case and screen protector company should I go for?

Case:
-able to resist shock+drop+scratch
-cool+awesome design

Screen protector:
-able to resist scratch
-retain the retina display clarity

Owh, and may I ask, can someone share with me what earphone are you using together with your ipod touch? I just wanna know

Hi there.

I recently bought my ipod 4g from epicentre@ion orchard singapore.

We will automatically get 1 year international warranty (without filling any forms). Also, if you bought yours at epicentre, they'll give you the epicentre membership card, which can be used both in Malaysia and singapore
